My executable left me.
The other day we were fine, laughing, enjoying some netflix and
today, the closet is cleaned out and half the furniture is gone.
I suspect Norton is at fault, he's been popping up when he is
not wanted and generally making a nuisance of himself.
But, since we have had multiple updates and patches, I thought I
would check as see if maybe it was a common problem not related
to nosey norton.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 7dtd. I ran the Verify
Integrity. I listened to all it's problems. Bought flowers.
Still nothing.

I turned off Norton, re-verified the integrity of 7DtD and the
game started up with no problem.
I then turned Norton back on and the problem came back. It is
definitely Norton.
It doesn't like the Heur.AdvML.C file. It categorised it under
Heuristic Virus and Quarantined.
I think a sample went to Norton for review.

I reinstalled 3 times. I finally went to options in norton to
allow that file. Works like a charm

Norton sucks. It's a resource hog. Malwarebytes for the win.
Trust me, you'll never go back. Most IT professionals use it as
well. That should tell you something.
