Hello and Goodbye

Seems like a nice helpful community. I've just joined too late,
spent 7 in game days trying to find a spot to call my own. This
map is just too picked over and all prime real estate is long
gone. If I'm going to get invested in a build it has start
someone decent without too many neighbors. I came across a
really nice spot but there was a 1/2 built base with no LCB was
told in pve you can build as many bases as you want and no
looting. ok then This map in the north has way too little green
w/trees areas somewhat near a town or city and very little water
lakes etc. I understand I don't NEED a lake to survive but I'd
like one. If i didn't care about scenery I could easily just
dig into a hillside or underground and just go utilitarian.
No one really knows me here as I started just tonight I'm sure
this post will mean nothing most. I just thought someone may
want to know why. I may try back after next version is released
this way I can stake a claim. That is if I haven't found another
server by that time. -Will :-\

I highly doubt you will find another server. Every other server
we have played on has had MAJOR hacking issues. This is the
first one where we have found no hackers at all.

There's a lot of areas in the south and plenty of loot. You
might get shot at once or twice, but honestly it could be the
answer to your problems.

I was thinking about going south, to be honest I'm scared to
killed over and over again, Seeing I'm lvl 5 and no gear etc.
The thought of being raided also bums me out. I can build
against zombies attacks petty well... I've not played pvp at all
in 7 days, I assume sniper rifles from a distance.
The thought of a server that had both pve and pvp sounds fun.
Build in pve gear up, level up then move down south and try my
luck...with a main base up north.
You know what, I'm just going to try my luck south. See what
happens if it becomes too much I'll just build anywhere suitable
up north and wait it out until next reset. thanks

I was worried about getting stomped in the pvp too, but it's
just not like that at all for me. I've been able to easily avoid
players in the south. I got all my books read in a few RT days
by setting up temp base near a bookstore, then moved on to the
next thing. It's to the point now that it's kind of exciting if
I do come across another soul down here. Just stay away from the
central hub city (until you're ready to tussle) and use your
land claim to keep raiders out of your stuff.
