Day and night length
By: guest215 Date: July 10, 2017, 8:04 am

Nights became longer by proxy. There are quite a few factors to
consider when changing the time for a full in-game day, which I
have considered already.
This thread is where you can voice your thoughts/opinions and
the reasons behind them.

I see I'm in the minority by voting "no", but that's ok,
certainly not something I'll quit over. I personally like the
60min because you don't have to wait as long for whatever time
of day you want and I've very rarely thought "crap, these days
are just too short!", the next day/night comes around soon
enough.
I am interested in hearing more details about the factors that
were considered. What prompted the change?

Will this lengthen the amount of time for POIs to repopulate
their loot? It's my ::ahem:: friend that's the dirty scavenger,
asking for him, yeah....

I haven't had a chance to really play with
the new day and night cycle yet so I'm not putting in a vote
right now. Curious how it has changed our times though. What
time does it get dark and light now? Thanks!

Day time still runs from 4:00 am until 22:00 pm and night from
22:00 pm until 4:00 am what has changed is how long it takes.
night now lasts 22 1/2 minutes where as before it was only 15
minutes and day lasts 67 1/2 minutes instead of 45 minutes.

I vote for 60 minute day/night cycles.
At 90 minutes, there are only two horde nights per 24-hour
real-world day. It took me two weeks of playing before I
happened to be online for a horde night.
Also, respawns are obviously a lot farther apart.
