Everything that Madman and I had is gone... All buildings are
reset and all our belongings are gone... shows my sleeping bag
on map, but it isn't there. I'll PM you our coordinates.

Well that's just great. I would check it out myself but I'm at
work. :(

The server crashed several times in a short period of time...
I'm guessing that chunks that were in the process of saving
during those crashes were lost (just a guess, but this can
happen in every chunk-based game I am familiar with, including
7d2d) and reset to their worldgen state.
It's possible h0tr0d can restore chunks from a backup but that
depends on the backups and is up to him of course.. I think this
is just one of the risks of playing an experimental build that
is fairly unstable right now.

Yeah we lost half of the base with a lot of chests as well. I
think rollback would be good, but its up to the admins.

Apparently hotrod did a reset for one area, and it affected
other areas...

I was working on a region which had a bugged trader and all of
the restarts must've done something... my fault. The region
editor hasn't been updated for a16.. well since 2015...so who
knows what was going on.
Looking into options.
I didn't do a backup because the next build is close; as of 16
minutes ago a new upload went into the DB. Yes the record
changes all the time, but they said they were close not long
ago.
I'm holding out for a new build before the weekend, I've
exhausted any restoration possibilities.
I could do a temp seed for a few days to help practice beginning
survival skills...
