This is about issues with ([s]removed[/s]). I know he's a friend
of Madman, so a bit of conflict interest, but I'm gonna post
this anyway. 1. He's allowed to play on this server, even when
he gives unauthorized players (Wilrest) the password. Explain
that? 2. He mooches off everyone that crosses his way for
weapons and food. 3. He has used some type of cheat mode, that
allows him to go underground with out being seen. This occurred
Saturday (approximately 80s 1460w) around 7:00pm. I was in the
south, heard one gun shot that was very close behind me, turned
around and nobody was there. Kept running and heard two more gun
shots that had to be at close range because of how loud the
sound was. Again, nobody there when I scanned the land. Then
boasts how he is the "best player" and can "kill me" or anyone,
without having any respect to his name. 4. Is constantly rude
and belligerent to other players in chat and especially on the
server's teamspeak, and then brags some more about how is the
best PvP player.
I'm not the only one with these concerns about ([s]removed[/s]).
You can ask Candor Falcon, Wilrest, Belinik88, Tarkow, Kevin,
Bumbaloo, or AB42 and they can all attest to my facts above.
If you continue to have players with this mentality on your
server in the future, it's not a problem, but let me know so I
can find a different spot to game. Thank you for reading.

I normally would have removed this from the forum and given you
a warning but I want this to serve as an example of what NOT to
do. The RULES are clear on this. Listed both on our website and
in the forums.

I think you can see my theme here. Under no circumstances is it
acceptable to talk about people behind their backs or to accuse
or suggest that another player is cheating/hacking or griefing
on the server chat, teamspeak or the forums. If you suspect any
of this, come to me and let me deal with it. If you must discuss
this with another player, do so privately, not in view of other
players. I have received numerous complaints now that some of
you have been engaged in this negative talk.

the problem.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you have a problem, TELL ME privately.
Do NOT ever post a complaint about another player on the forum!

I saw Madman's reply to you and he covered some of it but I will
reiterate for people.
The rules state that you may give a password temporarily without
them having applied if you have admin permission to do so.
We can check logs so I can see exactly who says what.
Get over "mooching". If someone wants items and you don't want
to hand them out then don't; but their interactions with other
players are not your concern unless they are creating a hostile
environment.
And just because you can't figure out how someone is doing
something or gets the drop on you do not accuse them of
cheating. This is probably one of the first lessons you learn
when playing online; I would say the first lesson is that online
play differs drastically from "single player" or "at-home" play.
Steeper learning curve.
You were pretty active in chat the other day calling out the OF
clan.
If some of those names were polled, and they will be asked,
knowing several of them they will give a more moderate and
tempered response.
Firstly, the claims about being the best PvP player are falsae
regards to anyone other than me. (Insert ironic humour and
sarcasm with truth).
The closeness of sounds and how you perceive them are
subjective; OF toodamngoofy used to hear auger sounds at like
7k; I could hear them at 5k.
Just because you say it had to be close does not mean it
was...it may have been...but claiming that fact is a logical
fallacy of reasoning.
Just because you can't see someone doesn't mean someone is
cheating. I have been accused many times of cheating previously
and it was merely a matter of outsmarting/outplanning another
player borne out of greater gaming experience.
As Madman said there is also a post on why we do not have a
complaints section. PM the admins, period the end. For questions
and for grievances.
Not everyone's personality meshes but if you have an issue with
someone in-game challenge them in-game and keep it civil.
Maybe a death match in Ground Zero.
If it were me I would already have tunnels, mines, and /home set
at points there before I called you out.
Another tactic I would use in areas is a 2 deep hole behind
every tree in a certain radius so when someone came through I
could be out of sight at any moment.
You just never know.
The next time an incident happens shout a keyword and then PM us
relevant information and say "I said moonblast" during the
incident.
What this does is let me search the logs for a unique word, in
this case "moonblast", to quickly find the text and take it in
context.
We have systems in place for handling issues and please use them
appropriately. We want a drama-free server and if there is a
good cop, bad cop scenario Madman is usually the good cop.
