Are running zombies random during the daytime now?

The increasing rate of running/sprinting zombies during the
daytime is ruining some of the experience of the gameplay. At
least on my part I haven't read any where that says this is a
normal thing for the game, via the devs or the server admins.
If they are infact an implemented aspect of the gameplay and I
missed it then let me know.

It's been that way since A15 experimental and at least three
seeds now.
It is random enough. I've only seen maybe three day running
hordes in the past 3 months.

Be especially cautious after any 7th Days. We had a massive 7th
Day horde that we cleared over the course of the night. Probably
two minutes after dawn, a dozen or some more zombies came
running through without warning.
It's possible that any remaining spawned zombies will gravitate
toward players after the night ends. For example, if I'm on, get
a horde, and then sign off, they'll wander, and may find you.

Guess I'll have to be more vigilant while out and about. And

so far I had one running daytime horde but it was also right
after a night time horde. It may be that they were already
"attracted" to us while in nighttime feral mode and didn't get
the memo, to go back to stumbling easy target mode.
If I feel unprepared, I just stay behind walls for 1 minute
more. I think it adds to the excitement. But I can see how it
might not be as much fun if a player is just starting out.

I don't know how random it is.
I have one, sometime 2 "randomly" appear (in a single day) right
next to my house.
Sometimes only 10 but mostly about 25 of them.
If this keeps going on I will never finish my base :)
I read this about Alpha 16

Is it possible that this is already working and causing this
thing?
P.S. after I took this screen-shout because the corpses they
where too many worked as labor and they climbed up :)

I walked out of my castle one day, shovel in hand, about to do
some gardening.
At the bottom of the staircase, I turned right and I see about
30 Zombies in a dead run toward me, about 100 yards away.
Startled the hell outta me.
I dropped my shovel, turned tail and ran like a Bumbachicken
right back into my castle. I got my shotgun and and went
BumbaRambo on the miscreants but my underwear . . . had to throw
that away.

LOL Bumba,
And yes, they seem to be a completely random element, that is
not that random. I get them more than I want, in even remote,
just walking around checking old houses things in the middle of
the desert. Day 2 server reboot and I got one just like that,
and I died a rather ingloriuous death with my shitty stone
weapon...lol
