Folks, if your friends wish to join you on the server that is
great news.
However, do not tell them it is an easy and cursory process.
If I am not mistaken, the application form helps you identify
your steam 64 id.
It also asks you to name the friend they are joining, in other
words...you.
I am seeing too many applications that offer their name as their
64 id and "I have a friend that plays here."
Frankly, it has begun to annoy me and offering instructions
which are already in the application process or can be provided
by their friend...you...has become insultory.
The instructions are clear; if they are not please inform us. If
your friends need help then help them. I am here to help, not
hold hands for what is already a smooth and well-explained
application process.
If they, by their own choice and/or laziness, decide not to care
enough to fill out the form as accurately and completely as
necessary then why should I provide consideration for their
application?
To wit, if you want your friends here then have them fill out
the forms appropriately. The emails I send out will cease to
provide instructions and will become terse in nature asking for
the requisite information.
