Game debrief prior to A15

A little debrief after running a delightfully long build on this
seed;
PVP zone was pretty barren, which made looting great. I pretty
much wandered around all I wanted (even though I still acted
like a squirrel worried that the cat is around, which is what I
want as a PVP player). Only really had two random PVP
encounters during the whole play-through. Though I will admit
that there were a fair number of bases in the south. And
Dalgoda - that was me building the dirt man near your base. It
was also me that was digging the hole near your base when you
guys were shooting exploding bolts in my direction :0)
Seems like there is very little player interest in controlled
PVP events.
There was a lot of decent player coordination in areas. Getting
together with good folks to shoot some zeds or build some stuff
has always been a motivating force for me.
Server was remarkably stable. After the motorcycles were
removed we really had free rein to build to infinity and beyond.
Amazes me to see that the day count is in the 1200s. That's
over three years of game time days.
If the next server runs as long as this one, I'd be keen on
getting some capture the flag dynamics in play for the southern
players. Seemed like the PVP players wanted something, but they
didn't really know how to make it happen. Except for some
free-for-all clashes in Ground Zero the PK count was very
limited.
Overall I'd have to say that this was a delightful seed, with
some good building potential and some good player involvement.
