New Poll: Let's Start a Navesgane Map Until A15?

This is pretty self explanatory. We have a very low server
population at the moment with many people feeling like they've
reached an "end game" and are waiting for the next update to
play again. I personally believe that if we do a clean wipe of
the server and start anew with the original Navesgane map, it
will breathe new life into the server, enhance server population
and give us something fun and different to do until A15 drops in
a few weeks. A15 will require us to wipe anyway so even if we
keep the server running on the current seed, it will still be
wiped once the new update is released.
Please vote and share your thoughts.
I will discuss the pros and cons with h0tr0d before making a
final decision but I want to hear from you, the players as well.
Also, please know that all of our characters will likely have to
be wiped as well. That means that all of us will be starting
with zero skill points and at level one. So make sure you keep
that in mind when deciding your vote.

The reason I quit this server is because of the wipes without
any warnings what so ever.
I remembered that I made a very nice base, with underground
concreet sewers all over town and then without any notice a
server wipe, all the work gone.
All I want to say that I like it that you are giving a warniong
now!
About the server wipe, I don't know. I wait for a15 and then
decide what server I play on.

I'm new to this server and don't have anything to lose anyway,
so I vote yes. I think it would be fun to have a smaller world
especially for pvp.

I'm not replying to your comment purely to argue with you but
your comment could not be more inaccurate. With only a couple of
exceptions that I will explain in a moment, I have NEVER wiped
this server without warning, EVER! And anyone who has been here
through the server's nearly two and a half year lifespan will
vouch for that. This server has ONLY been wiped as a result of
updates that required it or because of a game breaking bug
introduced by a new update. I have always posted here on the
forum when that was a necessity. Just go the the old posts to
see for yourself. I will admit that on some occasions in the
past, the devs had said an update did NOT require a wipe but
then once the server was updated it had broken the server
requiring a last minute wipe due to no fault of our own. But
even on those occasions, I made effort to communicate that with
everyone as that happened. Maybe you have our server confused
with another or maybe you did not read the forum to stay
informed. You are entitled to your opinion of course but you are
factually incorrect. Unless you felt for some reason that wiping
when a new update required it was somehow a choice. I can assure
you that it was not.
I welcome anyone to correct me but I am certain you will find by
looking through the old forum posts that I have been more than
transparent with all issues pertaining to this server's
operations, including server wipes as well as humanly possible
given the buggy nature of this game.

I'm on-board with this. I know it will be a lot smaller than
our normal maps, but part of me is intrigued to see how much
that by necessity drives extra PVE cooperation and PVP
competition.
@jscoolen. I get where you are coming from there. To be fair
to h0tr0d and Madman, though, it seems like in the time I've
been on this server they typically only have wiped because an
official update required it or because the server fell on its
face and there was no better option.

The only times wipes ever happen "out of the blue" is because
something is so broken there is no way around it.
I do my best to keep things going as long as possible without a
wipe and you have to understand...wipes are part of the reality
that is a game in Alpha.
