       Ya, I totally get into the celebration of the fallen surfers.
       Really a good cause man.  /facepalm
       I'm a history geek so stuff like this tends to annoy me.  Though
       I will say that the past will show that the younger generations
       have always done this.  Only when a person learns a respect for
       their heritage do these days of mourning become more than just
       "bogus holidays", because "I am really drunk right now."
       And history turns another page, this one being so much like the
       last.

       Makes me sick that these idiots are voting. There needs to be
       some kind of minimum standard of national pride, the sort of
       thing where everyone knows what the holidays are that are
       NATIONAL holidays and why we celebrate them. Not that they have
       to agree with everything that's going on, but that it should be
       a matter of national pride to know what your country celebrates,
       when it celebrates it, and why. Ugh.
