Greetings,
Just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone. Couple friends
and myself are looking for a new home in 7D2D and this server
looks like a great place to land. We are all in the DMV area and
have been gaming a long time. We really like PVE on one side and
PVP on the other as we are in to both aspects of this game.
We hope to hop on tonight to make an appearance.
Is this server as fun as it sounds when reading the website?
Any pointers for this server?
Do you wipe the server and if not is there world left to begin
your adventure?

This server is as fun as it sounds. It is absolutely
unacceptable that people destroy in the north, and they will be
punished for doing so.
The server got a wipe about a week ago, this was after the old
files got pretty messed up due to bugs.

Welcome to GZ i've been on this server for a long time and it is
a great server to play on. If you build a base in the north you
can go south and pvp with others, BUT don't loot/pvp in the
south then take it to the north to store at your base that's a
big no no... Otherwise yea this server is great. A good starting
point is to build in the north get some good guns etc ready then
just move south a build a base there. Otherwise welcome and we
look forward to having you here.

Did I miss something?
I thought it was allowed to PvP for any person, including taking
the spoils (the persons bag) north. That it just wasn't allowed
to raid south as long as you're not based in the south.

That would be my interpretation. If a person wants to go below
the 0 line then they are putting themselves at risk. No reason
why they can't grab some stuff before heading north. Just don't
dance across the line, shoot someone, and then make a mad dash
for safety. Give it some sport. However, if you take *all* my
lawn chairs and the pink flamingos too, and then put them in
your own yard in the north, don't expect any mercy! The Zorg
will find you!
But anyway, as I understand the basics of the rules --> just
don't be a dick. Be decent, even if you cap someone, or if you
get gunned down. That's just the nature of the PVP zone, and a
big reason for the excitement of walking over that 0 line.
However, even in the PVP zone, don't shoot someone off the deck
of their house if they are just out building chairs or planting
corn (although we had a good rip-roaring war after one of those
incidents, largely because it was in jest and we were goofing
off). Now... if you beat them down with a garden hoe, that's
totally different. At least then you are making it a sporting
chance for your fellow farmer, hoe vs. hoe. Just remember to
save the replay cause I wanna see it happen.

What is the confusion?
You can loot in the south if your base is in the north; you just
can't be part of raiding.
I am uncertain as to the uncertainty.

I am certainly certain that it is okay to PvP and loot in the
South if you live in the North. But you may not RAID. ;D

If people would behave like that, then I would follow them and
destroy them.
Like you said, don't be a dick. If you want to PvP, then be a
man.
PS. Killing someone while planting corn, is fine with me, to me
that feels like the point in the south, you're always at risk.
Solution? Build a big ass wall around it. :D
