       Structural integrity
       By: Mr.Bloodbank Date: April 26, 2016, 5:56 pm

I've recently encountered strange behavior from blocks
Building the 2nd floor of my base went all fine but as soon as I
started on working on the ceiling everything just comes
crumbling down unless something is right underneath it

Fastidious suggested I need to digg down to the foundation to
resolve this - is that true or has anyone found a different
       solution?

I too noticed some integrity issues today. Typically, I can
place wooden frames diagonally to create temp steps to climb a
structure. Well now, it seems player weight is back, as just one
block out, the wooden frame falls with me on it. Going to test
       this more.

Just tried some building away from my base and even the most
basic blocks break off as soon as I stand on it.
Weirdly enough any older structure is fine

ALL structures I built today had issues. Literally just hanging
one block off an edge and it would fall as soon as I stepped on
it. All previous designs of exact same from other days were
fine. Didn't matter on ground material, block material, or
location. Something funky going on today with it

Looks like integrity is back - BUT when I cleaned up some old
debris inside my whole base collapsed :/
well it was a bit asymmetrical anyways...

It's fixed. The server needed to be reset!

Same thing happened to me. Logged on today, added one block on
top of a vertical stack, the entire structure collapsed like
some kind of domino trick. Very annoying. Fun to watch, but
       annoying.

Okay, rebuilt my structure, built another small one nearby, and
I can put blocks on the sides of the new structure, but when I
put a block on the sides of the original structure, they fall as
soon as I stand on them....any ideas, HR?

You re certain that there is no open blocks or caves down the
original structure? It need only 1 open block any number of
blocks below to weird things start happening with gravity.

I had it happen at Hotel Noob. Moved to many different locations
on different default ground types and all repeated the same
issue. Build 2 blocks up, add 1 block hanging off. Drops as
soon as you walk on it. No matter what material type. Bridges
falling, floors falling, towers. I stopped building anything for
       now
