Server up, but back to the rubber-banding ip.

Do a search in Modded servers for the word Ground.
Otherwise, the i.p is 209.170.149.34
the port should remain the same at
This is the upgraded server we tried before.
It is rubber-banding again and I tried a new seed to the same
result.
It's that server.
I asked them to move us and start it, I've been up all night and
am passing out.

Can't find the server and it doesn't connect to the IP, doesn't
ask for a password either.

Second Try - Invalid password - please try again

Keep getting either one of the two errors, Either cannot connect
to server or Invalid Password.
Meh - I got to get to work anyways. Be back in about 9 hours or
so.

That really sucks. I've been working with computers all my life,
and I still find it impossible to understand how these kinds of
things can happen. Upgrade to a better server and the experience
becomes worse.
Appreciate all the time you are putting in!

I've asked them to switch the dashboard back to the old one
again and start it up as i'm going to sleep.
so go back to
69.162.77.66
if this isn't up.

They’re rubber banding on the new server.

Can we try a different server with similar specs? They don’t
rubber band on
69.162.77.66
nosecone.bluefangsolutions.com
but they do immediately on
209.170.149.34
spoilsport.bluefangsolutions.com
I don’t know the issue; everything was fine. Move the files to
this server and when 1 player logs in they rubber-band.
If that’s not ready just get us back to the other dashboard

Do other users on a ssd machine have issues? Is it the core
affinities?

They rubber-band even on a brand new seed; it’s this server.

I’ve been up all night doing this file transfer so please switch
the dashboard back to
69.162.77.66
nosecone.bluefangsolutions.com
for now and I can discuss this further after some sleep.

Hello ,
Can you please load up a new world and test it in a new world ,
this will let us know if it is a world issue .
I can load a new world for you if you need me to , just let me
know .
Load a new world and i will update alloc fixes to do a proper
test , moving the server is fine but i need to make sure it is
not the world causing this issue.

Did you guys run a traceroute to see if it might be one of the
hops, like the gateway? Are there other 7DTD servers running on
the "new" server to compare performance? Have they tried setting
up a different port to make sure it isn't a conflict or maybe a
corrupted config? Sounds to me like it might be a host file
issue, like a bad reservation. Just my 2 cents worth.

not by me

between Alaska and Seattle across the fiber optic cable. That’s
just plain physics due to the distance.

AT&T’s network.

border router between two major networks.

an highly congested network path. I didn’t see evidence of lost
packets, but there may be a lot of buffering going on.
Buffering could also explain rubber banding.
