As to the current lag and rubber banding

Support gave me the usual answer and saying start out with the
vanilla reinstall and Alloc's server fixes again. I told him the
same files had no issue on the non-ssd but those of you in it or
tech support know the textbook reply. Reinstall. Got cancer?

Well, if need it be, you could put a increased limit in
exploration for the next wipe, like 10 thousand or 20 thousand
for every direction, it will limit the map, but at least might
help a bit. Yeah, support responses are pretty annoying, I don t
mind a restart myself, but if the fun pimps don t fix their
shit, in a couple of days/weeks we are going to run in the same
problems again.

It's always been 10 K so far at the points I'll try some
troubleshooting when I get back and see what we can do. One of
the things I'm going to try and do even though it's
time-intensive is go back and find who hasn't logged in with in
the past month or two and maybe delete some of those steam IDs
or should I say their player profiles I'll keep backups of them
in case they show up again but in the short-term there won't be
sending those 25 kilobytes information extra to the server and
if you're wondering why it's a run-on sentence it's because I'm
using the talk to speak from my mobile be back hopefully by 4:30

Restarts, wipes, new map seeds, whatever you want to call it.
It's part of Alpha life.
Make limitations on exploring, how far you can dig, how big you
can build, it's all good.
There are many good people on this server, I don't mind getting
a little closer.
To bad all the deodorant vanished after the apocalypse.

When it comes to system environments, you eliminate variables.
The fact that the system environment changed means that the
problem is somehow sensitive to the environment the game is
played in.
To satisfy the techs, perhaps you could ask them to back up the
map files on their end and be ready for a restore, then launch a
new seed. If they're right and we're wrong after a day of
gameplay, then that's that.
If the problem is still there with rubberbanding zombies, we'll
probably know as soon as we have 7-10 players online and a bit
of the map revealed.
If they're wrong, they should restore our map by the end of the
week. If they're not, then they can delete it.
They're a server farm, they should be more than capable of
backing up data for a week.

After hours of 3 FPS, I'm ready for a re-seed, re-install,
re-whatever else can be rebooted. It's practically unplayable
in its current state. Hotrod, best of luck in getting this
fixed. Message me on Steam for help with testing or whatever
else if needed.

Sorry you guys are having such a tough time. H0tr0d is working
on a new seed. I will go ahead and reboot the server and
hopefully that will help for now.
