The call went forth for volunteers to begin the assault against
Spider's House of Horrors. Wisen and Pheonix were nowhere to be
found, and Longsword was down with a sick hard drive. Thus the
adventurous Cookie Monster was forced to go the distance in a
solo capacity - brave lad that he is.
Thus he burrowed under Spider's wall like a mole, flew the gap
to the top of the keep like a sparrow, and swam the deep water
elevator like a guppy.

First major barrier came in the form of a mysterious door at the
top of the keep. Cookie wisely avoided the boxes in the open as
mere ruses to confound and confuse the opponent. Though the
back was sore when the job was done, the taste of victory pushed
the CMonster onward.

Seriously Spider, double doors with triple upgrade? The worst
part is - even making it through these strong points only
resulted in fruitless dead ends. One was at the bottom of a
suicide well, and the other at the top of a dangerous pit
stairway.

Thus, after some unnecessary expenditure of metal stripes,
Cookie finally found the correct hole hidden in a dark recess,
and after a deep dive into a bottomless shaft, finally came upon
the entrance to the inner sanctum. I tried to speak "friend" at
the door, but it wouldn't open... so, out come the tools.

Seriously Spider, two doors of triple layered iron?? (Turns out
there were actually three) Thus the wise Cookie was forced to
consider a circuitous route to obtain a standing upon the sacred
ground of the inner sanctum.

And there it is folks - the inner sanctum, glimmering like a
huge mound of gold bars after you have swung from hundreds of
vines over hungry alligators, and jumped over numerous deadly
scorpions who skulk along in the underground tunnel.
So... Cookie went to work on box number... right middle.
And then he chopped some more...
And some more...
And then more...
More...
More [yawn]...
And more...
Oh wait, almost fell asleep there...
And then some more...
Cookies chops on the box 2300 times while at 90-100%, and then
empties two fuel jugs from a chainsaw in frustration.
The Cookie then realizes that Spider has cast some kind of evil
spell on his boxes which makes them immune to normal damage.
When Cookie comes to the conclusion that he is unable to make an
ax +1 his fanatical disappointment causes him to fall upon his
ax, which only grazes his midsection since it is so dull by this
point. Therefore he is forced to bludgeon himself to death with
the stub end of his ax handle.
Thus a noble soldier comes to a melancholy end, being as he was
cast upon the dark powers of an evil wizard. All that remains
is a small bag with contains the remains of the ax that he used
to finish the business.

My stop signs have been in place for some time, though I don't
expect many will take on the time, or the danger, of offending
them. I think you will find the interior of Cookieyoto Castle
more pleasing to a refined taste, and you may even discover that
an exploration of it's depth and intricacies is entertaining. I
should say though that my shotgun is jealous of any other feet
that might tread upon Cookie soil. :0)
Lest the martial spirit of war revive my waning interest in this
game, I might not bother to resist your passage into my inner
sanctum.
