•Fixed zombies should not dig or attack structure in a horde

       Ok how does this work?
My assumption was if you are still, not moving in any way
(crafting etc.) not making a sound in any way (eating, tummy
growl) not having smelly food (animal flesh cooked or not) the
       should not attack your structure.
Is it the higher/difficult setting we have on the server cause
that aint happening. They are still attacking/digging
       regardless.
Im a good 3 blocks down crouched and running totally silent yet
it goes from undetected to Hunted in a flash. Then comes the
       clawing, digging, screaming etc.

I could be wrong but I think you need to be much further than
three block down to keep feral zeds from sensing you.

I've got a entrance to my base underground about 8-10 blocks
down and they will sense me.

I believe this is only for zombies in hordes not just regular
zombie spawns they will still dig, and since we are on feral
they can smell, hear, and sense you 100 blocks away at night.

So (if Spider is correct) .
If a herd (i call them Herds) wonders by if I am running silent
they should not attack structures or dig.
       They still do though.
Dig more then anything as my one structure is fairly safe from
direct exposure. However but I have heard/seen them coming
circle away from the area and still watch them from a
       distance..... digging.....
All good I wasnt sure if it was settings or not. Understand its
Alpha and all just was checking as it still appears to need
       tweaking.

You need some external barriers on that new base Aknot. They
will chop through that sand like nothin (they did the same thing
on our mountain in the snow boime). Give them enough time and
your mountain will be filled with holes like the Madman base
currently is. Build a few layers of walls at different
intervals to block the primary incursions (Basic logs actually
work good for this - cheap to gather and fairly strong, although
       not as pretty).
Also, that is the same mountain that we have been digging sand
from. Did some more digging yesterday before I saw your base on
       there. Sorry about that.

I was wondering why there was a dropped backpack.
Im getting silly in my construction and seeing if I can support
the house up top on 4 corner pillars and a center larger pillar
with a ladder as the entry. I got the two corners on the East
side supported (I think) yet the SW corner is giving me issue.
I started with a four block with the first corner 3 with the
second and I was dropping down to two however the direction in
which I build may not allow that so I think 3 blocks is the
       least I can use.
As for sand..... I will make a chest somewhere and unlock it. I
have almost one chest full of it already as I may (if it remains
stable) make all the upstairs shower glass......

I believe i have ironed out all the pros and cons for our base -
I have had 3 hordes in one night and dispatched them all by
myself - I welcome them to increase my kill count in order to
       beat Aknot :)
If you would like some alternative ideas - visit our base int he
burnt zone to the far east of the map just to the west of the
small lake (in the triangle of roads for the 260, OldMole and
       Dishong Pass
I have yet to even repair 1 block of our structure - they don't
       even get close
2 layers of spider webs circling a pit with tree trunk spikes
that is almost to bedrock with a waterfall entrance they cant
       use
