Where are the animals?

Am I the only one that for some reason cannot find any animals
at all? Been back 3 days now and still cannot make a forge
because I cannot find something to kill for the hide to save my
life. >:(

What area are you searching for them in? General coordinates?
If several other players have bases in that area, then they have
probably hunted all the animals out of that zone.

Only so many animals spawn in a chunk over so much time.
You have dozens of players within 2-3 km of you.
Players also come from further afield hunting animals.
Short answer: too may people in small area who kill off all the
animals. Nothing wrong with the server or spawn rate.

ok just checking, just found it odd I have not seen 1 since i
started playing again. And I am still lacking a forge....would
pretty much offer up sexual favors for an animal hide right now.

Still havent seen one animal, not even a rabbit. I'm now on day
3 in game walkabout in search of any animal.....

Understood.
There is no spawning issues with animals that I am aware of and
I have looked.
It would depend on the area you are searching in square meters
(or km) and how cognizant you are of your surroundings.
Other people have brought this up as a complaint/issue and the
answer is always that they aren't searching a large
area/traveling abroad and they are in a city...the same
area...or in an area where many people have traveled.
I'll look again for you; however, to all the animal
hunters...the sky is not falling.

Im not saying the sky is falling or if anything is broken, but i
just find it odd i have gone a few 1000 in every direction of my
base and never seen an animal. If it wasnt for the forge
crafting I really wouldnt care. And when I am going out I am
specifically only looking for animals with my headphones on so I
can hear them as well as see them.....nothing. The search goes
on.

I'll check. You can get leather from couches and scrapping
leather armor.
Forges are also available in the vote store.

I have to agree. I haven't seen an animal in forever. I've
gone as far as going for long rides on my minibike and still,
nothing. Going Vegetarian.
