So I've been reading about all of these stinking glitches in the
game right now and how easy it is to duplicate items. I now
think once the these bugs get patched out I'd be in favor of a
reset.
On some MP servers people have stacks and stacks of every item
they would want by using simple steps to duplicate items. They
are actually very easy to do as I was able to replicate the bug
very easily.
These are the kind of bugs that can really cripple a MP server.
I know h0tr0d does his best but these bugs are just too easy to
do and would be impossible to police. I mean we could "police
ourselves" but I don't even trust ME with it being this easy to
do. ;)

Agreed. I've duped items without even trying to. My furnace gave
me 4000 wood out of nowhere. We should use this current world
seed to learn the new game flow and items then restart with
everyone on an even playing field.

The new game flow seems to be:
1. start.
2. wander into the desert.
3. die.

We need to wait until 13.3 and see if they fixed the bugs that
Hotorod reported, so he can launch a new seed. I'm waiting for
that too, because the desert is too huge, making it too
difficult to survive. Hope it doesn't take too long...

I will do a reset; however, I want to try and get as many cool
new mods and a good map in when we do so.
So for now it looks like a big learning experience so when I do
a new seed you'll all be more prepared!

Yes and maybe this time I won't be to stupid to begin on the
wrong part of the map...
Also making a few things a bit cheaper would be great.

ETA on reset? Not sure I wanna do much more if we are resetting
in the next week or 2.

Just play and don't worry about the reset. I have quite a bit on
my plate and am trying to not do this 24/7 so it will probably
after Christmas.
Players worried and stressing over when a new seed will come, no
matter how well-intentioned, mess with my zen;) Just enjoy
playing and experimenting with different things.
We also have to be considerate for those who don't need/want a
reset at the moment and are content in how they're playing atm.
I'll let ya know as I near being ready.
if you see something or think you found something unbalanced let
me know. Put these as well as requests in the suggestions
section.
Zcoins and vote points carry over, remember.
