I is such fun seeing your's and Carl's artwork. Good work.
Well I messed up. On the fourth I was grilling. The chimney that
i start the coals in was still flaming on the grill but I was in
a hurry as it was getting sort of later than I wanted so I
dumped out the flaming coals into the gril. little did I know
that a little coal had gotten on my big toe... the one I had
surgery on. I looked at it about ten or fifteen minutes later
and a hole was burned almost through my toe.. on the meat on the
left side of the nail. I did not feel it. it was just there It
scares me because something worse could happen and I might not
even know it.
I had to go to another doctor because my doc was not there on
Friday. Anyway he told me it was a second degree burn and to
keep it clean with soap and water. and use that silver
sulfadiaiine (sp) on it. Still cant feel it. it is getting
better though. siverdine ?
got some more coleus for my two empty pots. that's all they had
at Ace.
Im so excited about your new kitchen Scarlett. My brother had
to buy a new stove yesterday. Samsung gas stove. Wish I had a
gas stove. >:( :-\

Girl that is scary as all get out...............sulfadine
maybe....... it's a topical wound ointment. what colors are
dominate in your coleus..... I like the pinky mauve best

Gala that is very scary
if your neuropathy is that bad babe i think you need to be
wearing closed in shoes!
Keep an eye on your toe for infection - if you are not careful
you can loose the toe.
My kitchen is proceeding at a snails pace. They unpacked the new
oven today to discover that the forklift had been put through
the box and smashed the glass at the warehouse. so it has to be
sent back and wait for a new one to be delivered.
The new flooring goes down on Monday for where we ripped the
wall out. so it is slowly coming together
today we got 4 big water tanks delivered = now to get them piped
in and hopefully get some rain!

I hope things pick up for you work wise and that you get some
proper rain soon Janet....... but from the looks of it..kitchen
wise... Oz is like us in the USA when it comes to kitchen repair
....... when they delivered my stove..... no pig tail( wiring
package) yes it was ordered but not delivered.. they had a fit
about my insisting they take the one off the old unit and using
it ( same cord in all respects so it wasn't a problem ) I then
told them to leave it if they weren't going to put it on and
that I would install it myself...... they installed it .......
then I tore into the store business office about the unending
delays on the delivery of a stove and a refrigerator (7 bloody
weeks) and then the lack of cord ( they refunded me the 50 bucks
they charged me)......

I hope things go better (and faster!) with the kitchen, Janet.
I'd love a new kitchen... but it would have to come with a new
house!
Gods, George, that is freaking SCARY! Is the neuropathy through
your entire foot?

Janet Im scared to wear closed shoes in fear of blisters going
bad. It's pretty much healed up now. I put that silverdine stuff
on it. worked great.the neuropathy is bad on the toes and not
quide a bad on my fingers. Needless to say I try to be really
carefeul, when I cook. but from now on for cooking out I will
wear sturdy shoes.
Janet i saw all the pics of your water tanks and kitchen. So
cool for you guys.
I just ordered two more diamond paintings. one for me and one
for my mom.
my brother is on his way home from the hospital. he had his
second knee replaced. He's doing real good.

I was taught for my diabetes management to examine my feet with
a mirror each day to look for issues.
I wear closed in shoes if there is any danger to my feet and i
dont have neuropathy - i dont want to risk the issues.
Glad to hear it is healing
Kitchen is coming along..............

goodness this all sounds very scary if it were me I'd find some
way to guard my feet all the time... and I am one who lives
mostly bare foot so that is saying a lot ( only wear shoes if I
am going out and then if it's not cold it's sandals) ..... today
I am working on my music files....... been putting it off (
prefer to play my video games)

I am the same Nebs -hate shoes - they come off when i get home
