       Today Saturday, April 27th, 2019, is the 25th anniversary of the
       Kidnapping, r*p*, & Murder of a local Fort White gal. Carmen
       Gayheart was a 23 year old mother (& wife) to two toddler
       children, a son & a daughter. She was also a student nurse
       attending the Lake City Community College School of Nursing. She
       left school after it completed that warm spring day and drove
       herself to the Lake City grocery store called Winn-Dixie which
       sits directly across the street from the VA Hospital. She walked
       into said store not realizing that she was being watched by her
       two future killers who were out in the grocery store parking lot
       sitting in their disabled stolen Cadillac. The two were escaped
       convicts from a North Carolina prison. The vehicle they stole
       away from the prison in had a blown water pump and would travel
       no further. They targeted Carmen because of her great beauty &
       her Ford Bronco SUV. As the poor young woman made her way back
       to her truck to go pick up her children from the day care
       Hamilton & Wainwright forced her at gun point into the rear of
       her SUV while one of them drove it away. They drove up I-75 and
       exited the interstate into a patch of woods at Hamilton County.
       There they both brutally raped the young mother before shooting
       her dead in her head with two .22 caliber bullets from the rife
       they had stolen earlier. The killers then drove her stolen Ford
       Bronco back onto the interstate to make their short to live
       escape. They managed to get to Mississippi by the next day, and
       were arrested after a brief shoot out with a Mississippi Highway
       Patrol officer. After being sent back to Florida both killers
       were tried & convicted of it all. They were sentenced to death
       during 1995 and have awaited their just fates ever since. It is
       my understanding that both killers have exhausted their appeals
       many years ago. Let us hope that our fine new governor Ron
       DeSantis will sign their death warrants sooner rather then later
       so Carmen can get her justice & her revenge!

       38 years ago today Jeffery Joseph Daugherty, an Oakland County,
       Michigan serial killer, was sentenced to death in the Florida
       electric chair. He sat down in said device on November 7th, 1988
       @ the Age of 33. He is roasting in Hell and it couldn't be a
       more rewarding fate for such an evil, evil Piece of S*i* such as
       he used to be...
