       Florida set to execute double killer Jose Jimenez--

       Convicted killer Jose Antonio Jimenez’s long journey will end
       with a needle on Aug. 14. The 55-year-old Florida man was
       convicted of fatally stabbing Phyllis Minas, 63, in her North
       Miami apartment. Cops theorized that Minas interrupted Jimenez
       while he burgled her home.
       On Wednesday, Florida Gov. Rick Scott signed the death warrant
       for her killer, who was convicted by a jury in 1994. At the time
       of the Oct. 2, 1992 slaying, Minas’ neighbours heard the woman
       screaming, “Oh my God! Oh, my God!”
       According to the Miami Herald, the murder of Minas wasn’t
       Jimenez’s first killing. After his arrest in the Minas case, he
       was also convicted of a prior burglary and second-degree murder
       in the 1990 death of Marie Debas in Miami Beach.
