Not great news, been a fan of these games for a few years and
already purchased the final season to see how it ends with Clem
Hopefully we will get the rest of the episodes so we can see the
finished story

> Development has resumed on Telltale's The Walking Dead: The
Final Season, following a period of uncertainty regarding the
game's future.
>
> It was announced back in September that studio Telltale Games
would be closing, laying off most of its staff without severance
pay, and putting an end to projects like The Wolf Among Us
season two and the Stranger Things game.
>
> The Walking Dead comic creator Robert Kirkman announced that
his company Skybound have taken ownership of the game, stating
"We can't lose Andrew Lincoln and Clementine in the same year."
>
> Now Skybound have announced that work has begun again on the
final episodes of the game, with multiple former Telltale staff
members returning to work on the game.
>
> A statement from the company reads: "It's been a ton of work
logistically and legally to get us to a place where we're able
to roll up our sleeves and get to the actual work.

> "But, we're excited to let you know that many of the talented,
passionate team members who originally worked on the game are
resuming development efforts today!
>
> "Soon, we will be announcing release dates for the two
remaining episodes. It's likely that previous seasons of the
game may be unavailable to purchase for a few days as we
transition—but don't panic!—we'll have everything back online
ASAP.
>
> "If you already purchased Season Four, you will NOT have to
pay again; future episodes will be available to download as soon
as they are released via your original point of purchase."
>
> Meanwhile, Telltale Games have gone into liquidation, and
their games have started to be delisted from online storefronts.
>
> And while it's good that some of their former employees have
landed on their feet, it doesn't look like the severance pay
issue has been resolved.
