Jed Rant... The importance of expiry dates on yogurt, etc...

       Dear Members and Lurkers:
Everything, absolutely everything in ''this'' life has a ''best
before'' date. Once that date passes then the item will slowly
decompose (perhaps ''rot'' is a better word). You might notice
that relationships can get a little stinky after a while. That's
all that is happening. Eventually our bodies rot anyways.
Clinging to anything or anyone is just a failure to read the
label properly. Clinging doesn't change that date, it just gives
one pointless hope that the milk, yogurt, new relationship, car,
youthful looks, good head of hair, flexible body, blah, blah,
blah... doesn't really have an expiry date. Ahh... but it does
and nothing escapes their specific assigned "date of doom" (made
       that up by myself).
But wait, doesn't that mean that one's ignorance of their true
nature would also have to have a expiry date. In my experience
it does and that expiry date is the same for every human space
suit, we call it ''death'' just to further hide it.. contrary to
spiritual truth in advertising laws (it would more honestly be
called ''Waking up'' because you will never be more asleep than
       you are in this moment.
However, before the wine of life turns to vinegar (really good
Balsamic of course) you just might have a glass, or half the
bottle. But how does one get to enjoy that? I suggest a very
good start is reading the label and listening to your gut. You
might even use your nose to assist. Open that fridge door..
hmm.. what needs to be tossed out. Bet you'll find something.
There is always something. Sure it can hurt a little. It hurts a
little to find an expensive brie molding away before you have a
chance to enjoy it because your French baker was out of
       baguettes.
Remember, you can't get to the next rung of any ladder without
leaving the previous rung. Hanging around on the same rung all
the time might feel like security, but decomposition continues
no matter how much you cling.
Next time I'll buy the baguettes first.
       Love ya, Jed.

I'm not sure that ignorance of our true nature will expire when
the body dies, and, for that matter, neither are or can you be
sure, Jed. That is, unless your body died and came back to tell
us, which, I presume, it did not.
Telling us we'll wake up when we die is, as you would call it,
       NABS (New Age Bull S h i t).
I am not saying it won't be so, I just don't know since I am
still in this body breathing away... and so are you, I presume.
So why would you say this NABS about death being the same as
waking up? Would that be because you need certainty? I can only
guess. No one knows what will happen, if anything, when the body
dies. Maybe waking up has nothing to do with the body or living
in the illusion, but goes beyond that and is a "mind" thing that
goes on beyond the physical death. Maybe one can still be asleep
in the Dreamstate beyond the body, just because he didn't wake
       up while in it.
I don't know, but that's not my point. My point is, neither do
you know, Jed. That is, unless you came back from the dead to
tell us, as I already said, which, like I said, I doubt very
       much.

Whatever you guys decide...save the fuck*ng cookies!
I've never been able to simultaneously eat a cookie and have a
       bad experience. Just sayin.

That's exactly what i'm doing. I consume the ignorance of my
true nature until it's expired, not a minute later. It means
whatever I do it can't be failure or fault. Doh...

Thanks for sharing. In my experience the space suit IS the
illusion, either that or so intimately tied up with it that they
are inseparable. So, drop it and what is left. The real you. And
yes, I can't recall a bad cookie experience. Due to the French
colonization of this part of the world there are great baguettes
to be had almost everywhere. Just in case you where concerned
       for me.
       Love ya all.
       Jed.

       Hi all,
I guess it's all guesses...it might be fun to play the guessing
game but not sure "conceptualizing reality" helps us know it.
Why not just see through the fridge altogether instead spinning
the mind wheels which really go no where? Those are my bs
       thoughts for the day.:-)

Does the fridge really exist? Only in your imagination. But hey,
we need something to talk about something, metaphors, analogies,
       etc.
       Talk later,
       Love ya, Jed.
