Jed Rant... What you are and are not
DIR By: Jed McKenna

---------------------------------------------------------
You are consciousness. At least that is my experience of what I
am, so let me talk about this apparent ''me''. If I am
consciousness, and nothing more, I am the source of all that is.
If that is all I am, and all that exists, then how can it become
aware of itself. Consciousness would have to step outside itself
to see itself, however, if it's all that is stepping outside of
itself that would mean it would be itself plus all. It would be
all and the stepping out as well. Like your eyes seeing
themselves. Pretty difficult to imagine BUT, not impossible
because logic doesn't apply at the level of consciousness. Logic
is a human construct and appears reasonably infallible in the
dream, but we have all dreamed some pretty illogical experiences
at night.... haven't we?
What to do? Watch the trees swaying in the wind. Is the wind
making the trees sway, or, perhaps the swaying tree is
generating wind... it's neither. Your mind is making the tree
sway. That mind outputs its data by way (generally) of the voice
and pictures in your head. When the mind is gone pure
consciousness (AKA Buddha Mind/Truth) shines through. Along with
that there is sense of everything disappearing. People, the
world, the universe, are gone. If your body walks into a glass
door, it's still going to go bump, but there is no one there
to notice it or care. If not conducted with some background,
this realization can be problematic. It's certainly destructive
to the dream and to the degree you are living in the dream, you
will be disturbed.
What disappears is the perceived and the perceiver. All that
remains is the truth of what always was, perceiving only. No
subject and no object. Perceiving doesn't call for them, hence
they are no longer there, never were, but perceiving does
continue. Asking what is perceiving perceiving is meaningless
when only perceiving exists.
You do not exist and never did exist. Existing is a concept
thought up by mind in a desperate effort to attach importance to
illusion and dreams. It's no more real than the money in your
pocket, but as long as everyone else is dreaming, that money is
accepted. As folks wake up you will find that the sense of
currency will change. Less folks will accept your paper and your
stories.
Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
Love ya, Jed.

I've always asked for the same, though the asking had to learn
what to ask. Getting better at asking the right thing.
It's good. I have full trust in the process.
I'm aware of the dream stabilising through the process. It's an
automatic process. Everything is perfect.
Love, Mori

Throughout my life I had one simple question, and it sounded
something like this:
"What the f u c k is this and why does everyone act as if it
is normal?"
Well, it is known now, so the question no longer exists (and
neither do I).

Is there a single upside to t/r, besides getting to know the
truth ?

Truth isn't a prize. you don't 'get to know it'.
the upside is it exists.
just my non-existent two cents worth, given 'here', for free.

Depends on what the deal is, I guess. I saw the lies and the
b.s. around me and wanted to know what was true. Knowing Truth
exist is an upside to me ("me" in a figure of speech, not
literally "me" me). So, I wouldn't want to miss out on that by
stopping at H/A. Not that there is or ever was a choice. So the
upside is that it is true, the downside is "you" don't get to
enjoy it. (so funny, really)
Edit: and no, you don't get to know Truth, it's impossible for
someone to know Truth, can't be done.

So there's no benefit to t/r? Not even the symptoms. No loss of
anxiety, no using it to gain perfect knowledge. No synchronicity
to help you make money? No cashing out on other seekers. No
skills or talents. You get to "not know the truth" , realize
nothing is real...and then have the added dilemma of not being
able to function in society .......can anyone who is "awake"
refute this ?

No one can refute anything for someone else. However, you don't
have to buy what everyone else is selling. Try writing your own
story. Fuck the critics and nay sayers. They "don't exist
anyways" it is there right to not have an "upside" and your
right to call their bullsh*t. Good luck.

The benefit is impersonal, it's the best and the worst, which is
the same... all cool.
