Dear I:
That's a very good question and deserves a longer explanation
than I can yield right now. I will give you one very important
facet. You are always 100% responsible for everything and have
never ever been guilty of anything. But there is so much more
than that and that can be taken in the wrong way as well. It's
just a start.
Love ya, Jed.

Luckily, I don't experience much guilt anymore. I do however
know that I am responsible for...
- taking care of my basic needs
- taking care of my body and health
- my obligations and duties
- keeping attention rooted in the body
- recognizing when I become attached and knowing how to let go
- recognizing my patterns when they flare up
- opening up to any and all emotional discomfort
- maintaining a smooth flow in my relationships
- setting boundaries
- knowing when to change something, and when to accept
That's basically what I learned in the last year and a half.

Dear I:
Good step, now, find the one who is responsible. I did say my
H/A description was incomplete. H/A is only a step, a way-point
on your journey.
Love ya, Jed

Ok, but I'm still not perfect at the things I listed. But 10x
better than I was the rest of my life. The last 2 weeks I got
really attached to girls/dating/sex. It took 3 days of solitude
for that attachment to fall away.
As for looking for a me, the idea that I was inside of a
fixed/solid body dissolved a long time ago. Now it's obvious
there's just sensation.
This is basically what my spiritual inquiry has been reduced
to... Should I be doing more? ...
I normally just check to see if I'm looking out of a pair of
eyes wondering "Am I really not here?" Then notice what I'm
looking at, oscillating back and forth between seer and seen.
I'll often notice an image appearing in mind indicating that
there's a "me" sitting here looking. I notice that I'm looking
out of empty space. Or like I'm viewing things on a movie screen
and I have no face. From there I just relax and breath a bit.

Other people don't matter, only you. That's all there is. Don't
spend any more time or energy on others.

Holy crap! I blew you off initially, but I see it now. I just
found something else I can let go of. Wow, now I see the source
of my worry. Boy, that stuff is sneaky.

I have a question about forgiveness.
I don't like my ex. On one hand, I know it's not her fault for
being a mean person. But sometimes I am angry with her. If I
were to cross paths with her I would not have anything nice to
say to her. I don't obsess about it, but I watch it when it
comes up.
I really don't want to forgive her. But I wouldn't know how to
even if I wanted to.
The question I have is, do I have to do any digging or inquiring
into this thing? Or just let the anger come up when it happens
and leave it be?

Dear Ivory:
Hold on all you want. I believe it's AA that talks about
drinking poison to get even with another person.
Try finding one small thing that you can forgive and just tell
yourself that forgive that and let go.
If you look around you and see worn old bitter men or women,
they are almost always stuck in something that they failed to
forgive. Usually it happened fifty years ago and they still
can't let it go. Go ahead and swim with a boat anchor if you
want, but I wouldn't.
Love ya, Jed.

I'll do it.
Is it possible to put too much attention on self? If I look at
it too much the mind tends to go to war with itself and spin in
circles. I'm still not sure how to find the right balance.
Right now I currently do 15 minutes of writing every morning
just to see what's going on in there. Then I leave the mind the
hell alone. If the mind has slipped into self analysis mode,
I'll skip the writing all together until I'm clear again. Does
this sound reasonable?
