I saw your last rant, Jed.
I'm def guilty of seeking attention and approval. I'm aware of
it, and try not to indulge too much, but it can take quite a bit
of willpower at times.
Am I the only one guilty of this?
Sometimes I look at people's behavior and I wonder, "Is any of
that real? Or is it all for attention and approval?"
How many people actually live authentic lives?

Attention seeking ploys.... you can see it all around you...
Get the right mate, right house, right car, blah, blah, blah...
so... what..if....
There are only two expressions that a human can make:
1.) A cry for attention, or
2.) An expression of love.
So, could that be true? Have a look an see, but not out there.
Watch what you are doing and see which category it fits in.
Feedback welcome.
Love ya, Jed.

I don't know what you mean by an expression of love.

The question I have is if there is a way to ground oneself? I
feel so overwhelmed with uncertainty and change. I feel like I
have no context. Nothing makes any sense. Is there any way to
feel like there's any stability at all?
I can't tell if my life is just a mess right now, or if this is
just how things are. I feel manic. I wish the mind would quit
spinning and just settle. I went through something very similar
to the lady in the third book when she bailed on her job and her
husband. I can't tell if this is just a phase or transition, or
if this is how it will always be.

Ignore that last post. I was unclear this morning. As usual, the
breath cleared me right up.
Sometimes I become manic and I forget that I already have all
that I need.
I have no idea what I'm doing. That last post is proof.
This may sound retardedly obvious, but I have the sneaking
suspicion that no matter where I'm is exactly where I'm at.
The idea of getting somewhere seems silly. I think the solution,
uncertain or not, is just to relax and enjoy the ride. A
transition is an illusion. I'm just here (Or maybe "I'm" not)
Does this sound like another ramble?

I'm seeing now that it's about letting go of whatever
obstruction in mind happens to be arising. In other words, it's
not about getting somewhere.
Let go, and keep on trucking (as you would say).
But I do have a question.
For stuff that keeps coming up, like worry for instance, does
that mean that I need to look more deeply at the source of
worry?
Or do I just let the worry arise and pass?
It's annoying to have to deal with the same shit all the time.

Yes, more than you realize. Very normal with seekers.
Love ya, Jed.

I'll make an attempt to answer my own question. This morning I
woke up, mind spinning, and just lied in bed while my heart was
pounding. I was overwhelmed with anxiety. Seemingly related to
my current work situation.
Just then a memory arose from the past where I dealt with a
particularly shitty boss. That was odd. I had forgotten all
about that incident.
I don't have proof, but there is evidence to suggest that the
fear/worry I've been dealing with lately is past emotional stuff
that I wasn't equipped to handle back then (I didn't have the
training, know-how, or the willingness).
I just have to go through this stuff.
