Jed,
I could use a bit of honesty, even if it doesn't make my ego
feel nice. I have been participating in your forums for a long
time time now, I am sure you have formed an opinion of where I
am at as far as the development spectrum is concerned. More
specifically, I am wondering if you think I am just wasting both
your and my time.
I read peoples posts and see the progress they are making and it
puts my lack of any forward movement into stark contrast.
Honestly, it makes me feel like ****. I feel like the kid who
is 5 foot tall and wants to be a pro basketball player (i.e. you
can want it, but it doesn't mean you have an ice-cubes chance in
hell).
I was just listening to "Notebooks" and it was talking about a
"serious seeker" who was described as being a puppet of maya.
It made me wonder if I am actually in the process of going
anywhere, or if all of this is just a game my character is
playing...if my role is just spinning my wheels until the clock
runs out.

Hi Jack:
The fact you are reflecting on your sincerity and position in
this all is a good indicator that you are doing well. Those are
aren't questioning aren't usually doing much of anything. I
suggest just continuing with what you are doing and be gentle on
yourself. Short basketball players do exist, but not in the
Globetrotters. Love ya, Jed.

Guess its time to take down the Globetrotters poster and get
real :)
Joseph Campbell said, "Follow your bliss." For HA, would you
recommend trusting good feelings in the body in context to
thoughts or life events? I have always been super-duper
sceptically of the lovey-dovey new age types, but this has been
on my mind for a few days now.
For example, I just had a very strange (and sad) conversation
with an old friend and after hanging up I got a very nice warm
feeling between my man boobs (heart chakra just sound sooooo
lame).

NONONO: Don't follow your bliss, you will just become a bliss
ninnie. However, the expression does sell well.
Some folks get into bliss and think that's it. You need to blast
on through it. What's behind it, what is your bliss occurring
in, the backdrop? The word 'further' doesn't mean stop and smell
the roses. Cut the roses down, pass them to someone who gives a
damn. All you care about is T/R. Got it? Nothing else.
Everything that comes to you is an opportunity to either go back
to sleep or step forward on your pathless path. I'm not saying
'most things' here.
Every single moment is massively full of invitations to let go,
see through, move forward, experience more of what you are and
eventually realize it all (that was drafted by my marketing
department, not bad eh?). And that is marketing bull of course
because it's never over. That's the wonderful thing about truth,
it's infinite and very few people grock infinite. Ever revealing
and welcoming.
Damn, now I'm feeling blissful at reading my own garbage.
FURTHER.... Love ya, Jed. Marketing is on the other line.

Hey Jed, thanks again for reading.
Question: What is Human Adulthood and how does it differ from
childhood and from T/R?

Childhood and adulthood, mostly visible through actions/symptoms
... the child knocks over the milk and looks you in the face and
says 'I didn't do it'. The adult says, 'Well, that was a dumb
place for me to put it' and learns, maybe not much, but learns a
little.
It's not easy, but you will know it when you see it and
experience it.
Love ya, Jed.

That makes sense to a degree, but it seems to only be part of
the puzzle.
Further, in "Warfare" the advice which was given to Lisa was
that the majority of her effort should be to realize that she is
not a human being on planet earth (I think it was 30% of the
effort accomplishes 70% of the job...something like that).
So question: How does one grok that they are not a human being
on planet earth?

Hi Jack:
How do you grok that you are a human being on earth? Back up the
way you walked in. It's all a story, ALL.
Love ya, Jed.
P.S. There has never been a true story.

Could you expound on that a wee bit. I am not getting what you
are saying.

We are in court and your life depends on the decision. Convince
the court that you are human and that you are on earth. No
'self-evident' arguments accepted because it is not
self-evident. No hearsay and no documents permitted unless you
where a party to the document and were adult at the time and you
had two witnesses to your signature. Now, go for it. You have
the rest of your life, so I would get my knicker in a knot over
this.
Love ya, Jed.
