Jed Rant: How smart are you?

It's been my observation that forum members and Nav Series
students are quite intelligent. I would guess they are
significantly more intelligent that the average bear. Inquiring
into your True Nature seems to only comes about with a certain
amount of intelligence.
So, now that I have you up on a bit of a pedestal I will share
my second observation. They are also quite stupid.
They are smart enough to use a degree of intellect and reasoning
but not smart enough to recognized that they don't know what is,
they only think they do. Thinking is not ''IT''. Thinking is
just thinking and nothing more.
My question for you is are you intelligent enough to allow for
the (fact, observation, belief, experience... you choose) that
you don't have a clue, that you know not what really is and by
assuming you do, you block out what really is. Thinking doesn't
make it so.
So, what really is? Nothing really is... all that appears is no
different than in your night dreams. They have characters,
emotions, experiences, good and bad happenings... all of which
can be startlingly real whilst dreaming but vanish quite quickly
upon awakening.
You think this living dream up and, then by believing your
thinking, make it real. You remove the dream-like nature by
layering it over with the certainty of your beliefs (thinking).
BK had a useful response to pretty much everything after her
awakening. She would reply with ''Is that true?''. You might
want to try that. Don't expect many friends to last if you start
using it in public, but you might learn something about your
friends if you do.
Give it a shot... to every thought that arises in the next...
say ten minutes, ask, ''Is that true?". Really inquire. I am
currently sitting in my favorite Indian restaurant... I see
people, tuk tuks, police being bribed on the street corner by
motorbike riders without helmets... beggars... etc. To each of
these appearances I invite them to prove themselves with that
inquiry.
Bottom line, I know nothing, and that is what leaves an infinite
opening to know everything. Don't ask for more explanation as I
can't explain it. It's just what is... what really is... but
wait... is that true?

I am not really surprised.
Let me be the first to admit that you are (as always (you wise
nose)) very right.
(but only spoken from my point of view)
But I am not unaware of the points in your rant, I see what’s
going on.
And afterwards I always take an extra pizza and laugh about
myself.
It just arises sometimes and will go away the same way it came.

Who are you talking to? No ;) just kind of a joke.
I would like to react on the part where you say.. that some do
assume they know what truth really is.
I guess it's a little like this. To keep things simple in a
way..
By focusing on truth.. you can try to remove everything that
appears.
So. Every layer or thing has to pop up somehow and then they can
be dealt with. I don't see any way this could be done in just a
few seconds. Certainly for big ego's.. as a matter of speaking.
Yeah I know TIME TIME.
So I'm just stating that ego (but it's just some clouded truth
really who needs to find a way back to itself) needs to make
some fake things up.. see through them for what they are.. in
order to travel towards truth again (find it's way again).
Jed, I always thought you thought there was something like ego
that could reach truth.. but I have my doubts now.
Feel free to comment.. or give some feedback..
God we're all repeating.. that it's not true!? or that it is
truth. Is that true?

I presume that what is IS, just because what isn't (the
dream-state, Maya, the illusion) has to exist in something that
IS, otherwise even the dream-state, Maya, the illusion, could
not appear to BE.
I don't know if that is intelligent or plain stupid... you tell
me.

this post reminds me of a story about some prodigy kid who
finished school/college by age 10 or something, killed himself
at 14 with no warning

All 'I' see in these replies is the further use of intellect,
and attempts at humour that fail because that's all they are -
attempts, with agenda behind them.
I don't know anything apart from I am. I don't even know if I
don't know anything.
I am experiencing fear. Or am I?
I 'think' that I don't know anything, and I expect something to
happen because of that. But nothing does, and probably won't.
Because I don't know nothing. And nothing is what I want.

The whole climax is this whole virtual reality. A lil story from
me, say 4D dimensional figures know the running mechanism behind
our 3D dimension. We 3D people never know anything of a higher
up dimension. We think "there is "something" out there, but
dunno what." Hence the birth of god and the likes. We have an
observation mechanism capable of labeling whatever. Even Truth
has different labels like the "I am", "what is", "you". The
stupid point is there is no point. It's just stretching out
garbage to the size of an atom and live with as lil bullshit as
possible.

The irony is of "Jed" being enlightened where we are not. He
isn't, just as much or little as we are. It's just as Jed likes
telling every so often: Further. There is only further - until
maybe Truth arises, hah, as if we can even do anything about it
as individuals. We're all in the illusion, there is no out.
Perhaps there is no "in" either, there just is the Illusion of
all phenomena, and than there is "it".
(Actually, I slightly take that back; We're getting closer, but
like said, it's not an individualistic thing, Truth can only be
all-encompassing or all-excluding - I'm going to place my bets:
Maya is going to prove me wrong anytime soon on that one as
well, that b*tch)
Anywayyyy, let's just keep on furthering!
