Jed Rant... review of forum rules.

Just a brief review of forum rules.
1.) Less than 250 words per post, preferably much less.
2.) No quotes, poetry, songs, movies, Youtubes, or the like. The
are only distractions.
3.) Stick to the point. You are the point, and I am only of
some value to you if you share what is going on for you, where
you might be stuck, frustrated or the like.
4.) No cross-posting or making helpful comments about other
members. This also is a distraction.
5.) Members start one thread and that is theirs alone. Please
keep to that in the interest of focus and continuity. It's in
both our interests.
6.) Any member can post on a Jed Rant. Just keep a close to
these rules as possible. How a Rant impacts on you is still a
focused post and acceptable. Just use your good judgment.
The Nav Series, Skyping and the forum consume a considerable
amount of my time. If you can't stick to the Forum Rules I will
promptly ban you in favor of those who are more serious and to
whom I just might be of some assistance.
I dislike rules, however, I trust you can see that this is a
practical necessity and I thank you in advance for your
anticipated cooperation.

Yes... But the people who get the "rules" get them because they
see they work, they are useful, and then they're no longer real
rules. People who don't get the rules, don't want to get the
rules because they still have something (themselves) to prove
and something else (someone else) to disprove in order to prove
to themselves they are real. They will never get them, because
they see them as restrictions they need to fight, because, well,
how else can they prove they really exist?
Nevertheless it's probably a good thing to repeat the forum
rules every once in a while for the newbees.
So, by all standards this was a useless reply from my side of
the rainbow... I felt like writing, so it happened.

Quoting me is not a problem in a Rant and not in your own thread
if you are sincerely trying to grok something. If you wish to
point out contradictions in what I say, please don't waste your
time or mine. I am mercurial, full of contradictions, illogical,
paradoxical, and sometimes just plain stupid. I just don't make
sense, gave that crap up a long time ago.

These forumrules are the bow and arrow. Keeps the profound
aiming accurate or else it turns into a floathing melodramatic
circus. It comes from nowhere true. I just pretend a story, with
pretended boundaries/rules, and pretend to work with it. The
thorn eliminating another thorn or something.
