Are you suggesting that with a ''mere shift of focus it could
soon be a different experience''. Can you shift your focus to
yourself and share more of what you are experiencing? Perhaps
why you are here and what you seek? If you seek an understanding
of me, don't waste your time. However, you might benefit from
finding there is no you who ever could benefit.
Best wishes,
Love ya, Jed.

If it really is your experience, as you shared in your books,
that you 'have heightened abilities to manifest desire and shape
your personal reality' then surely you understand the power of
focus/intent/resonance in terms of what manifests?

Sure. As I said, I at one time also believed (and thus
experienced) a reality where I was awake/conscius & most others,
asleep. I came to see that that idea was no different than any
other...no more real or true....just an idea, and one that had a
propensity to profoundly impact upon my overall
experience/realtionship with 'others,' which is no small
thing....relationship with others appearing in experience, has
a rather profound impact upon what kind of dream we're having.
Indeed, I had observed folks who seemed to be less conscious and
taking life as though it were something very serious and true,
but rather than seeing that too as just an idea, I took it 'on
board' in the sense that I allowed it to color my
expectations..to become a sort of small 't' truth about how
others were and would continue to be.. When identification with
that idea as being something more than 'just an idea' fell away,
the folks who began showing up in my movie suddenly were no
longer so sleepy/unconscious. It was pretty amazing really, and
the best teacher I could ever have had in terms of coming to see
the inherent emptiness of all ideas/thoughts/beliefs...and that
ideas/thoughts can be played with as reality is actually very
fluid...malleable.

I seek for nothing at this point. Once all ideas have been seen
to be inherently empty, and identification with any one in
particular ceases, that whole house of cards pretty much
collapses, doesn't it? But I continue to be interested in
exploring the depths of Maya and how even those who believe they
have somehow transcended her grasp, can often still miss the
obvious. In short, I enjoy sharing and exploring this subject
through conversing with others of similar interest. The process
of going deeper is imo, never ending and it's a process that is
fueled by life itself. Interest leads...and arises beyond
individuated grasp. If its there, nothing to do but follow it.
And, like you, I see that once seeking ends, there is nothing
more to do but get back into costume and have the best, funnest
'play' possible. Once its' seen that it's all much like a movie
and we're making it up as we go....the only question is; What
kind of a movie/dream am I having?
The ability to manifest and shape reality that you speak of in
your books, is something I also share..and continue to be
interested in for the very reason I describe above.
You've put yourself out there as one who has transcended Maya,
awoken from the dream, from the clutches of attachment to
identity (no small thing!...that which gives rise to suffering!)
and you have done so through writing memoir styled books which
intricately describe your experience. Your expectation that
folks should not be interested in understanding you, seems kind
of naive considering this. If understanding you & the way you
experience life, is of no matter whatsoever, why fill three
books with detailed explanations about what experience is like
post TR?

blah, blah...yeah, I get it. ;D ....that said, the movie plays
on....and yeah, it does still matter to me what kind of
dream/movie I"m having, as it clearly still mattered to you when
you wrote the quote below. After all, why would you even care
about an ability to "manifest and shape reality" if there were
no pay-off...no benefit? Clearly The benefit is: An enjoyable
dream/movie/play...and from what I've read in our books and on
forum here, you care as much about that as the next guy. All
being gravitates towards growth....expansion...dare I
say....Love. ;)

> Jed Mckenna: "On the other hand, I have, uh, heightened
abilities might be a good way to put it, that most of you
haven't gotten around to developing or recognizing in yourselves
yet. These abilities are not really related to enlightenment
directly, though; at least, they don't hinge on it, nor it on
they. I'm talking about the ability to manifest desires, for
one. To shape your personal reality.

> ......Someone who doesn't have the knowledge to shape his own
personal reality might consider it a power or something
mystical, whereas to me it's just something I know how to do. I
started doing it for very practical purposes before awakening
and I never thought of it as anything but the way things really
work. There is no great mystery to it, it's only magic when you
don't know how it works. Once you know, you know...."

Anyway Jed, wanna say, I sincerely do thank you for engaging
me....I very much appreciate those who can discuss, and even at
times perhaps, debate these issues, without devolving into egoic
incivility. I'm very much enjoying this discourse with you.
Thanks. :)

I understand what you are saying, and I love your words ''egoic
incivility''. Pops of all over this internet thing. A little
like a pimple that keeps coming back.
Take care,
I love ya, Jed.
