Jed,
More and more I am seeing how the external world reflects my
inner world, both with my own personal projections and in
actuality. When I was leading up to psychosis your old forum was
chaotic with people posting a whole bunch of nonsense and in
some cases actual jibberish. After psychosis where my mind was
empty and calm your forum as well as my life was much calmer and
albeit boring. Now I find your teaching to reflect my current
environment, constantly referring to looking 'for that which
seeks,' as I venture my way through India towards Mararishi's
monastery.
How could it not be that this life was entirely designed for me?
How could it not be that life is leading towards
"enlightenment." I see the flow in all directions, effortless
flow at times but sometimes life likes to keep me surprised :)
I'm starting to see how once I cease to exist that the universe
also ceases to exist. The universe comes from the mind. And the
mind seems to be a creation from the empyrean, a place where I
exist and don't exist. This whole universe is after all the
ultimate delusion - the delusion that I have a form, that WE
have form. "if there is any other out there" I scream from the
top of the Dharamsala mountaintops... All I here back is my echo

It's true that 'no belief is true'
I BELIEVE that it's true that 'no belief is true'
So which side of the paradox is ultimately true? That no belief
is True? Or that ALL BELIEFS ARE TRUE...
For the individual holding the beliefs this is defiantly true.
The belief, whatever it may be, IS TRUE in their eyes. So TRUTH
IS OF THE INDIVIDUAL, everyone has their own. You must find your
own truth. There is no saying of the truth because my truth is
different from yours. There is only truth.
What's your truth Jed?

Jed,
You say that consciousness is the superset of the universe, that
is that the universe ultimately doesn't exist and is all an
imagined creation of consciousness. But isn't this another
belief? It Could be the case... in fact it makes sense of the
whole something vs nothing debate in that there isn't anything
at all, no form - all ultimately formless.
But it's still a theory or belief right? Ohh shit I just
realised. That's why you called the book the theory of
everything haha me stupid!

Going nowhere and nowhere to go...
I'm starting to see how people talk the talk. They talk about
achieving no self and seeing beyond the ego etc but in reality
have progressed nowhere. By this I mean they are under the
illusion that they have achieved or made these realisations but
in reality are no different to how they once were... They just
have the change in thoughts which tell themselves they have
achieved these states or realisations. Their undergarment still
reflects the same old self.

Jed,
I'm currently reading Sam Harris book Waking Up... And you
probably just spat out your coffee... Anyway I'm halfway through
the illusion of self chapter and all I can really glean from the
book, or what I think Sam is saying simplifies down to is that -
consciousness is a consequence of the universe. All the claims
he makes about this "reality" all seem to hinge on convincing
the reader on this theory... A pretty convincing theory indeed
perhaps... Or not.
I almost feel that the majority of scientific books are Maya's
new form of delusion. A tight, structured and well argued but
ultimately untrue and false form of delusion. Why? For in the
final analysis when it's time to return to our true divine
God-like nature, the majority of the population will be locked
in self-imposed prisons, unaware they are able to summon and
control whatever they like. This allows maya to continue her
ultimate control over the masses... Until science is then
doubted by the masses. Then she will have nothing to do - or
will she?
Just another bullshit delusion of course but I never said I
believed it... like everything in this "reality" :)

How did you know I was drinking coffee... didn't spit... just
dribbled a little.
I agree with you about a new form of Mayanic illusion. My
thoughts on science is that they actually believe what they say,
and then make laws, and then change the laws later... something
about that doesn't pass the smell test. They are just trying to
understand what, in the end, will not subject itself to
understanding. That's a little child like but I do understand.
I'm pretty sure that Maya will never run out of things to do or
universes to play with. She is not bad, just misunderstood.
