Jed is going on vacation... really.

Dear Forum Members:
I have been working (i.e., playing) with writing, forums and the
Nav Series for approximately two decades, so I figured it was
time for a change. For my ‘holiday’ I am going with a group of
volunteers to the N.E. border provinces near Vietnam as part of
a rural UXO education program. One of the biggest issues farmers
have is land mines and unexploded bombs, especially in the
border areas. They don’t know how to deal with them and
sometimes even play with them or take them apart for their scrap
metal value. They also sell the explosives to quarries for a
handsome profit. Obviously it’s a deadly game but few of them
realize just how deadly it can be. How do deal with these is the
topic of our ‘educational expedition’.
It should be fun with new foods and faces plus an opportunity to
improve my Cambodian language skills.
I will be gone for a week and internet is non-existent up there
so I figure I will just take a break from things all together.
I’m confident the world will continue quite well without my
digital presence and that you too will manage, perhaps even
better without me. Why not?
You are welcome to post, just don’t expect any guru bafflegab
back until my return.

And i can see how usefull work is it, but i mean be carefull.
You didnt make all these mines and maybe they should take
resposnsibility for themselves. Ok i am shutting my mouth. Again
have a nice trip, yip yupp..

This, so very much. I wonder if this is even an individual
process to begin with. Whatever rules we uphold are illusory
anyway. :)
Besides, what's the fun in "personal" autolysis anyway?
