Jed Rant: Coffee is love!
DIR By: Jed McKenna

Who is there to fall in love with? There is only One. What
humans think of as falling in love is an illusion. You only fall
in love with your stories, driven by society and acculturation.
You love your stories about another and what should be. They
promise you happiness but deliver confusion and grief. If you
really knew love you would love until the end of time and yet
there would be no object of your love. Of course, you do love
until the end of time. However, your Beingness of Love is hidden
under a thin but very durable veneer of what you think love is,
concepts, early imprints, expectation of shoulds, wants,
desires, needs, expectations. Love is not what you think it is
and love has nothing to do with thinking.
Human love is a cup of coffee. Hmmm.... smells good, promises
satisfaction. Taste??? well, o.k. but needs a little more sugar
and milk. Afterwards, well... my tummy doesn't feel that good,
and I have this racing heart and have to go to the toilet...
also feeling a little dizzy. You know, that cup of coffee wasn't
so good after all. Next day... damn, I need a cup of coffee.
That's all there is to it.
NOW! Try to tell your mind that and Maya/ego and all that good
stuff will raise absolute hell with you in an effort to defend
its concept of human love. Anything that requires a defence is
not real. Period.
Why to do I sign off with ''Love ya, Jed''? Because using ''I am
the love that you are, Jed'' takes too long to type. Maybe I
should abbreviate that...
Ya, Jed.
P.S. You comments are always welcome...

Can’t comment on love Jed as I can honestly say I have never
felt it. There was a time when I used to fake it and try and
“feel” what others say they felt but that was a long time ago.

Trying to battle my coffee habbit tought me as much as any book.
Stopped trying ??? :'( :).
At the beggining of "this", I lost love and all that, like I
never had it. I got a weird kind of aloneness instead. I dont
think I could have been alone before. Its a new skill.
And love, now, its like there is a two of me. I am alone, and
yet always in the company of myself. Feels kind of love.

And also i dont need to fall inlove to love people, like loving
a cat. Of course you can fall in love with a cat . But i am
beginning to see that i am beginning to fall in love with myself
and i really know what it means. İ love myself sometimes
very very and at these moments i love evertying, everything and
i feel really being one with everything in love. Than of corse
something happens and i quit from this state. Yes what i really
know is last two sentences ;D i have to go work.

I always quote Miss Tina Turner on this kind of conversation:
"What's love got to do with it?"
Nothing much, I guess. Since we don't know anything, we sure as
hell don't know love. End of story. ;)

Love is a word. It implies a connection for most humans that is
fraught with or burdened with expectations. It is a thought and
a deal we make with others.....usually. What you speak of as
love is one-way, open, and all, without thought. These things
are not in the same universe. 😉

Hi, Jed,
You seldom answer my skype but take care of other members here
so much. I am jealous. I want to go to Combidia. When can I go
there? I know you don't like too many students to be there. Can
you tell me the address secretly through skype? I won't let
others know it and I will go there secretly. Please....Thank
you.

All there is are moments which increase comfort/feeling good and
moments which do the opposite. Any form of extremism just sets
the stage for a high jump to a very low fall.
No expectations, just the inclination to act upon certain
desires. Warmth and touch can be rather comfortable, in what
shape or whatever doesn't matter. Keeping any drama to a bare
minimum.
I love the coffee which in turn loves me. :')
