where am I stuck ?

Jed,
I’ve had a pair of times a peaceful experience of the sense of
me disappearing and feeling that there was just experiencing, I
remember how much enjoyable was the sense of peace and complete
connection with everything that was experienced.
Then I’m also in a regular therapy that it’s making me get rid
of some bad patterns learnt at childhood, and this is making me
enjoy much more everyday’s life.
Recently I’ve discovered that drugs, sex & chocolate have been
draining a lot of energy and I’m discovering the benefits of
restraining it’s use.
Then still, I continuously catch myself thinking in terms of an
I, basically longing to repeat these experiences of the ME
disappearing. And when I’m not doing that, many times I stop my
search wondering if life isn’t like a magician trick and the
best way to live it is getting immerse in it without trying
obsessively to uncover the “tricks” by seeking awakening.
So basically "I think" that I should keep investigating the
feeling/idea of I without seeking to repeat the feelings of
peace and connection I got in my previous experiences right?
Usually I feel/think I understand all this completely and I only
have to "feel it". I don't know, feels like I'm missing
something or I'm stuck in something, any advice?
Thanks for your work!
Christian

Dear PM:
In my experience you have nailed it quite well. Just stick with
it and do your best not to expect anything in particular. Be
open to whatever arises in awareness.
Love ya, Jed
