Jed Rant Interjection
DIR By: Jed McKenna
Date: September 5, 2014, 11:10 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
I wrote the following to a member a moment ago and felt it
appropriate to share. Take it for whatever you will, which you
will anyways. Some may find value in it.
How much effort does a rose put into being a rose. Keeping that
color up and the wonderful smell. It works it's ass off, NOT!
How much effort do you put into being a me, keeping up
relationships that don't smell nearly as nice as the rose,
maintaining that facade that you are this or that?
You are love so how can you love someone else. It's absolutely
impossible, ludicrous. Does the rose set out each day to 'rose'
someone else??? Does it intend to smoother you with it's
fragrance?
You are love and are spending a tremendous amount of energy
covering that over and pretending otherwise in order to
experience separation and a pseudo-act of union. But, ya gotta
love those pseudo-acts. They sure can be fun.
Of course it's not wrong, it's the way things are, but we have a
gift in that we can see through it. I am tempted to say wrong,
but am resisting, yes, I am resisting with everything I am....
it's hard.
Another word.... less than optimal.. well three words, but they
work for me. Would you choose a less than optimal life,
consciously choose one? You don't have to go out and change
everything out there, it's not out there anyways. Stop resisting
what you are.
When you feel love for another, and often the cleanest version
of this is with a pet but it can be anything, the 'other' is
just giving you an opportunity to experience a little taste of
what you really are. The other is almost a convenience, a
facilitator. That doesn't diminish the other but elevates
her/him/it to a level of a God. They mirror the love that you
are and you get to experience it, my God, is this not a
wonderful gift, is this not an invite to quit bitching about all
that you (think) you aren't getting in a relationship? You are
getting God/Truth/Love handed to you on a platter and what do
most of us do? Focus on the fact that he left his dirty close on
the floor, or she didn't do the dishes.
Does less than optimal work for you. It may, but you may also
just be kidding yourself.
I'm not suggesting here that one stay in a non-working
relationship. I heartily endorse constructive selfishness. If
your relationship is really not working with someone, that's
wonderful. You have an opportunity to free them up to find
someone else, and for you to do the same. There are
relationships that are simply toxic and call for fifty ways to
leave your lover. Just step out the back Jack (or Jill). In my
observation is that it's usually the woman the initiates the
leaving. Women are more sensitive and have more guts in
emotional matters than we men. I, in fact, used to be gutless,
now just mildly cowardice. A big step up for me.
Now wait, what does this have to do with T/R. Plenty, your
wonderful feast of love and understanding (T) is covered over
with scraps, leftovers and plastic containers of stale Chinese
take out. Time for someone to take out the garbage, YOU!
When I sign off with 'Love ya' I don't literally mean that 'I
love you', I mean 'I am the love that is you and everyone and
everything'. It's my limp attempt to get you to love me, but
only as the all that is.
The Jed part is just some meaningless name I was given. Can't
help that. Love ya always. Jed.

Glad to hear the "Love ya" explanation.
But Jed, you went way beyond what seems reasonable to illuminate
others.
Don't you think the desire and efforts you have for individual
awareness deserves a "love ya" attachment? I do.
I owe a great deal to your "Love ya". Your work unlocked 45
years of puzzlement for me. You put all the pegs in order for
me to fully realize myself.
I have more love and appreciation for you than exists in this
dimension.
There is certain to be a dimension with a love and appreciation
vacuum, for which I am sorry, but WTF.

I don't understand what you mean. If it's really important to
you, please clarify for me.
Love ya, Jed.

Jed, I think he means you have done a great deal to help others
to wake up and you deserve others's love. If you still don't
understand it, I will explain it to you in Chinese.[emoji16]
Well, well, I am just a bit bored.
Walking by the ocean coast, the wind helps to clear up my s h i
t load. Nice sun, too.
How's your day going?

Got it gang, and I don't think I need the Chinese translation.
I'm just a little rusty on my Chinese. ;)
Love ya, Jed.

Great post. I had to take the garbage out. It took me a while.
The smell had to become intolerable first. Otherwise I was
pretty much a coward for not wanting to let go I hope that it
would get better and of course because I didn't want to be
alone.
