Membership Closing

Dear members: I am pleased with the current member commitment
and the quality of communication. It's a definite upgrade from
the old forum and I'm determined to keep it that way.
Something on the order of fifty members is the limit, at least
for the moment. I have other projects on the go that require my
attention as well. So, the limiting mechanism will be that in
order to join, one must have:
1.) been a member of and made a number of posts to the former
site, or
2.) be referred by an existing member of the new forum.
I'm going to try this and see what happens. It's all new
territory for me, as is everything else in the world. Love ya,

Uh oh. I've never posted on the other forum (although, to be
fair, I did try to join on a number of occasions but couldn't
get the membership to complete past the verification stage for
some reason...so, I would have posted a bunch, believe me :D
but couldn't) I don't think I know anyone here on this forum
(unless Kris is the Kris I know from elsewhere...but I'm not
sure on that one) to get a referral. Should I try to gain
access again on the other forum and then come back after
participating there for a bit and when there's an opening again
here? I can do that, if needed :)

I am one of the lurkers on this forum and the old forum, because
I am not good at writing and commumicating in English.
I joined this forum because it is my birthday today.
I am the 52th member.
Perhaps I am not the right person on your project.
