Collection of Quotes from Jed Rants Part I

I received too many emails to deal with, so I had to forego some
of the nice formatting and just post here for all to see. Enjoy
and thanks to that un-nameable Nav Series student.

Acceptance
“Only acceptance, you don't have the capacity to comprehend it,
at least in your human form. Accept everything that comes your
way. You don't have any choice anyways.”
Ask
“Ask and ye shall receive, but not from me, from you.”
Attention
“Attention is the currency of the human race and I would posit
that everything we do has that at its route. Buy a new car,
succeed, get a good looking mate, a haircut, have the latest
computer, etc. We don't really want any of those as much as the
attention we anticipate they will bring.”
Authority
“You are YOUR OWN AUTHORITY. Stop looking outside yourself. You
will just acquire rubbish. This is a process of discarding, not
acquiring.”
“Order imposed from without must always breed disorder.”
Avoidance
“Everything you do is to avoid that nothing that you are...
contemplate that... EVERYTHING.”
Awareness
“…awareness will take care of everything. Maybe not in the next
20 minutes, but maybe, you never know. There is no time and
proof is that when it happens, it will happen precisely NOW.”
“Be that awareness that is aware of itself. It can be done,
although it makes no sense at all.”
Belief
“Belief in something has nothing to do with whether or not it is
real. I use to really, really believe in Santa, but I now have
serious doubts.”
Bliss
“Screw bliss, T/R is way beyond that.”
“Some folks get into bliss and think that's it. You need to
blast on through it. What's behind it, what is your bliss
occurring in, the backdrop? The word 'further' doesn't mean stop
and smell the roses. Cut the roses down, pass them to someone
who gives a damn. All you care about is T/R. Got it? Nothing
else. Everything that comes to you is an opportunity to either
go back to sleep or step forward on your pathless path. I'm not
saying 'most things' here. Every single moment is massively full
of invitations to let go, see through, move forward, experience
more of what you are and eventually realize it all (that was
drafted by my marketing department, not bad eh?). And that is
marketing bull of course because it's never over. That's the
wonderful thing about truth, it's infinite and very few people
grok infinite. Ever revealing and welcoming.”
Body
“Forget about trying to figure out what your body is doing. It's
way smarter than you are and it's releasing a wide variety of
stored experiences. I would welcome it openly, shake, cry, it's
not you anyways so don't worry. Your body is just a small toy
sent here to relieve Truth from a touch of boredom. Can you see
that? Welcome it all and I mean all, relax, breath and just
welcome everything. It's what the real you is doing anyways,
might as well not fight it.”
Business
“There is your business, other's business and God's business.
When you are in other's business there is no one minding your
business. Forget what others think. Hell, they don't even know
half the time. Pay attention to the only business that counts.
Yours.”
Change
“The problem, and conundrum, is that when you set out to change
anything, you are doing three things:
1.) Making what 'is' bad in some way,
2.) Creating and/or reinforcing the 'you' that is in the way,
and
3.) Avoiding the real issue(s) in your life.”
Christians
“This is also a subtle reason why Christians tend to have a
sense of persecution, just look at the apparent life of their
role model.”
Contemplating
“By contemplating I don't mean seeking an answer, in fact, I
suggest letting anything at all that comes up be gently dropped.
Contemplating is just a kind of being here for everything.”
Death
“You might die tomorrow, don't know, but are you living today?
Really living? Taking it all in and enjoying it all?”
Decisions
“…don't worry about making a decision, it has already been made.
You just might not be aware of it yet.... patience.”
“My response to things like 'should I go or should I stay'. If
I'm getting stay, I go and if I'm getting go, I stay. The
important one is the 'go' because it is frequently an avoidance
mechanism.”
Drama
“What if we are someone’s flock, just fodder... and the harvest
is our drama.”
Enlightenment
“Enlightenment is not 'settling for less' in my experience. It's
settling for everything.”
“Buddha is purported to say he gained nothing from
enlightenment. Expecting to gain something is a huge block.”
“One of the ‘stories’ about enlightenment is that you become a
sort of inhuman automaton. It's not that way, things arise and
things subside, the big difference is there is no me in the
process. An observing is happening but with no me in it. The
result is nothing sticks. All experience comes down to a white
fluffy cloud passing in the sky.”
Emotion
“No emotion has the ability to kill you. They are just stories
you run habitually.”
“…emotions promise you that you get by keeping them exactly what
you get by letting go of them.”
Experience
“…nothing can be explained, only experienced and released.”
“Now out of your head and into your experience.”
“This human experience is just an entertaining opportunity to
experience one of an infinite number of facets on an infinitely
large and crystal clear diamond. You are the diamond, not any of
its facets. They just add the sparkle.”
You are imagining the burdens. You will slowly die under their
weight. Just look at old folks.
Fear
“Keep in mind, fear is just the manifestation off resistance.
Watch, listen and learn, but not from me, from you.”
Fraud
“The first word you utter is a fraud and then likewise,
everything that follows. It's all a fraud but your mind has to
get that and then your body. Nothing is real, nothing is
serious, in fact, the real fraud is nothing ever happened. What
a friggin relief!”
Freedom
“Until you are completely free to walk away you aren't free to
stay.”
Further
“Yup…now Further.”
“Everything and everyone is an invitation to go deeper/further.”
Futility
“Yes, the futility of it. Out of your hands... however, there is
an upside. You don't have to put any more energy into finding,
seeking, resolving, understanding, getting... it's all taken
care of.”
Good v evil
“Go for the root. Just hack at that root with the intention of
bringing the whole tree of illusion down, the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. Now there you have a much overlooked
truth. No good or evil and you are in paradise. Who makes
anything good or evil?”
Guru
“Any decent guru is always playing games with you. Not in a
negative sense. He is a trickster who wants to trick your mind
into going to sleep, stepping aside or just seeing how silly it
is.”
“Everyone and everything can be your guru, but you have to be
wide open to it.”
Here
“You can't go anywhere, that's the joke. You are always here,
where you are. You never went anywhere, ever. You only imagined
it.”
How it works
“Here's how it really goes. An impulse or desire arises out of
the void. No reason, not even an origin, just an arising. That's
step one. Step two is an action gets taken. Now the really
important part. In step three we reflect back and make up a
reason for the action. There wasn't one until we make it up.
Period. It's never been any other way.”
Human adulthood
“If you are free to do or not do anything you feel like, then
you have reached H/A.”
“Grow up, do, accept and then do again and accept again, onwards
and upwards.”
Importance
“You can't destroy what never was, you just remove the
importance and it disappears all on its own.”
“You are not nearly as important as you think you are, in fact,
you are not important at all, as you think you are (Please
reread a hundred times).”
Illusion
“It's not that you don't exist, the illusion that you think you
are doesn't exist.”
Infinity
“Infinity is not just a concept, an infinite number of things
have happened an infinite number of times and that means
everything has already happened. If it's already happened, then
it's already happened an infinite number of times, hence never
happened because there is no 'non-infinity' to compare it to.”
Insanity
“Ah yeah, the good old days when nuclear destruction was just
around the corner. I do long for them. It would seem a little
wimpish to go out at the hands of something as small as a virus.
I'll just check with my astrology chart, throw some runes,
consult the I Ching, have a cup of tea and read the leaves and
get back to you. I trust it will be in time, but you never know.
Oh yeh, I forgot, I must consult CNN. Am I being silly or is the
rest of the world being silly?”

This was put together by a Nav Series student and the
un-nameable one deserves the credit . Nothing to do with me
other than I blurted them.
Love ya, Jed.

Thanks for sharing. Very helpfull. Saw this Rant a while ago.
But now I can respond too it. :)
Got one also about trust.
How can you say you trust someone/something if they/it may not
(ever) break your trust?
So much for trust.

Find out who would want trust...
Trust is just a story you run in you mind about how things
should or should not be. All stories are fiction, even that one.
Love ya, Jed.
