In Buddhism it is called problem of double mind.
The mind and the watcher.
The "I" is not the mind. The "I" is the one watching the mind
(ego).
Happen to me a few times to experience the state of watching the
monologue of my mind as not my own.
How to silence the mind (ego / false self) permanently, when any
thought about it is done within the mind?

Dear Dopos:
Welcome to our forum. You posit a good question, because like
many good questions the answer was already evident. Just stay
with the watcher.
Love ya, Jed

Thank you Jed.
I wished so many times to meet any of the spiritual teachers
that I like. They are dead or speak languages I do not know or
are behind impenetrable walls of personal assistants or they
charge money.
Yet here you are in the reach of my virtual hand, somehow I do
not know what to ask. I fell that nothing is important or I know
the answer before I put it down.
Thanks.
I am going to re-read the trilogy. If anything arises I will
ask.

Hi Jed.
I am working with spiritual analysis, I find it difficult to
disprove my perception.
Table is here. I can feel it. I can smell it. I can hear it when
I knock on it.
If I smash my head against the table I will break my head –
massive wooden table. Also I bruised my head on a corner of
another table when I was younger.
On this table is standing the LCD monitor I am looking at while
writing this.
This table holds keyboard I am typing on right now, words that
can read anyone who sees them and interact with me if he/she
wishes thanks to this table!
The table seems to be TRUE.
Sure the question: "Who is "I?"" might rise up, however what
about the table?

Dear D:
O.K. you see a brown color, you feel a sorta angular shape and
flatness, you tap it and there is a noise. Now listen up. If you
had been blind from birth and suddenly got our site back it
would take you a year or two to realize it was a table because
while there is some reality to you sensing, the idea of a table
is a concept in your mind. This is very important. You now
resort to concepts in mind and loose you sense appreciation.
Just the way it is in my observations.
Give is a shot.
love ya, Jed.

When I am doing something, I am not doing it. The body does. I
am watching.
Thoughts are not coming from my mind they pop from somewhere
behind/next to it. I feel them coming close until I can hear
them inside my head.
When being physically hurt, I don't feel pain, the part that has
been hurt feels pain, however I can't ignore it.
Who is "me" that is watching.
Who is "me" that watches the thoughts of mind.
Who is "me" that is feeling the feeling of pain.
How can I state what is TRUE if I don't know who is stating it?
