Jed rant: forum rules refresher.

New comers seem to miss some of the rules... but they are buried
way back at the beginning so here is a refresher.
No more that 200 words in a post and less if you can. No cross
talk other than on a Jed Rant. And then, don't tell people what
you think there problem is or recommend a book or the like. I
know exactly what you doing and it's off the target.... YOU!
Also, no links, poetry, books, youtubes, and the like, anywhere.
These are distractions and avoidance mechanisms as well. Just
keep it to what you are experiencing and what is happening in
your world. That's all that you have any knowledge of anyways.
Explore it.

You could send them to the Introduction you wrote on the Notices
forum on the home page, maybe add the part about 250 words there
as well? So they don't have to try and dredge this post out of
the dust bin of history later... 8)

I'm just going to echo Know's suggestion to put the 250 word max
rule in the Introduction notification. I studied that page
intently before I posted my 3,000+ word introduction. If the
250 word rule had been in that doc, I'd-a saved myself a lot of
time (but hey! at least I got some SA in without knowing it....)
