Jed rant: A day with the guru
DIR By: Jed McKenna

Ramana, one of my favs, taught that everyone is your guru. What
would a day be like if you operated under the assumption that
everyone and every event that happened to you was your guru,
your teacher, always pointing you back to self, the
void...Truth? Why not give it a try? If a day is too much take
an hour. Look at everything and everyone as your guru and each
communicates a lesson. Carry around the words 'Thank you' and
express them silently to everyone and everything.Trust that if
there was a point to anything, this would be it... everything
and everyone is an invitation to go deeper/further. There are no
limits to You, so see what you get when you dive in.
After a little concentrated effort on this, turn the tables.
It's always been you, you are the guru pretending you aren't.
Feedback welcome.
Love ya, Jed.

Nice one. For me, it's less "pretending" and more "forgetting"
that I am a guru, the Guru of Gurus!

Hey Jed, 'do the opposite' means to say 'damn you' to everything
and everyone, or it means to simply stop doing what has been
done previously?
When I think too much, I tend to only find more
questions.[emoji33]

Very often my cat is my guru teaching me how to relax and take
everything easy. My bad neighbors are my gurus, mirrors me the
silliness to judge about everyone.
And they are all me. Yeah, I'm very polymorphic :D
