SA
DIR By: Meno

After many years the searching has finally stopped, rather
abruptly and wonderfully. But TR feels like a long way off and
I don’t even know if I want it, but I do know that I want to
shed all the shit and this will just happen, though not sure
how, how long, how much etc.
Most days I look back on my day and the overriding sense of my
behaviour is that of a moron; no big deal, that’s just how it
is. Will this moronic behaviour inevitably diminish if I try to
keep being aware of it… apart from SA, are there any other daily
‘wake up and smell the coffee’ things that could help me be less
asleep in day to day life with all its distractions… ?
And most importantly, huge huge thanks for the books – book one
especially is possibly the most enjoyable as well as useful book
I have ever read. Actually, writing this, this is probably the
main reason for this post, yes I should do SA after all, ha! -
where can I find out more about how to do it? Thanks in
advance...

Dear Meno:
Welcome to the forum and thank you for your post. SA is very
simple and that probably the most difficult part of it. Just
write something that it true. Don't make it more complicated
than it actually is.
There are a number of techniques in the new Navigator Series
that help smooth the way through H/A and on to T/R, and I am
just finishing it up. Have you reviewed other threads on the
forum? I think you will find some helpful info there.
Love ya, Jed.

Thank you Jed for your reply and advice - and I shall have a
further look around the forum.
In the meantime whenever I try to do SA I am stumped as I cannot
find anything that is true.... I try it with 'big' statements
and also with banal ones and they all end up in the same place.
Nothing is true; I could go on but its not 250 words and its
mainly temporary drivel :) What to do ... I don't want to be
deluding myself...
Thanks

Dear Meno:
SA is only one technique. It worked for me but there are
certainly others that can push one to the edge. I have included
a number in the Nav. Series. You have to do what clicks for you.
Love ya, Jed.

Hi Jed
I wasn’t saying that SA was unhelpful – quite the contrary :)
despite ending up at the same place all the time or going off on
one to the extent that when I return I think 'what was all that
about?' and it seems entirely irrelevant – it’s quite funny
really. I tried to write about horrible stuff in the news
yesterday whilst imagining it happening in my neck of the woods.
Things happen, it’s not that they don’t matter even when they
are horrific but they are still just things happening. Would I
think that still if someone shot my children? Yes I probably
would, and I would probably shoot myself too!! It’s just that
there are fewer questions and they get answered almost instantly
if I stop, think, breathe, do SA etc. BUT I am far from actually
shedding ego/Maya etc. They are right here, I make friends with
them as well as slice them to bits a hundred times a day as well
as let them make me think, feel, act like an idiot … far too
much for my liking...
Is there any particular slant or topic or question that would be
useful for me to address in SA?
Is the Nav Series a set of books or… and I think they are not
out yet whatever they are?
Many thanks again

Dear Meno:
Stick with that you are doing. The final format of the Nav
Series is yet to be settled on.
Love ya, Jed.
