To be frank, this sounds like therapy. It sounds like hacking
away at the million headed hydra of attachment. When you see
clearly what you are not, thoughts don't stick anywhere.

Ahhh... .come on... that can't be true. It's just NABS (new age
b. s.). Sounds completely ridiculous and I'm not buying it for a
minute.... well.. maybe just... hmmm... I seem to have lost me.

I like that metaphor, very descriptive.
So basically the whole idea, or "goal" of T/R is cutting all the
attachmentcords? (Just for the sake of consensus) And thus
coming to a state of non-attachment, thus freedom. (Actually
that's an illusion too)
Ugh... Describing something with a non-descriptive quality is
so... Well... That.

metaphor, it's a quote.

I find it a bit tiresome how people talk about cutting away
attachments... Should I leave the family? Should I leave
college? Should I quit my job? Can I still play my guitar.
Attachments, like someone already kinda mentioned, aren't the
problem and they aren't what you need to focus on if you want
H/A or T/R. Focus on Who am I? or What am I? or What is truth?
and the rest will follow.
Attachment will or will not be cut, and if they do or don't
doesn't matter. Truth is still truth, with or without
attachments.

Yeah that, and some attachments are benign anyway. That's the
H/A part, cleaning up any mess made, there is no sense in
struggles or discomfort.
