The "jesse" thread (previously: "Finite and Infin

       Jed:
In anticipation of the Nav Series, was thinking about picking up
a copy of Finite and Infinite Games. I take it this is suggested
reading? Can't find a torrent for it, so if I have to actually
pay for the thing, don't want to be disappointed.
       Thanks.

I read it as a paperback and I think it cost only dollar or two.
       A real bargain.
       Love ya, Jed.

...out of curiousity, isn't that a pirate copy? why share that
you don't intend to pay Carse for his work?

I thought this was Jesse's thread. What's with all the
cross-talk? I understand you might have something of value to
express, but that should go on a rant thread. If you can't find
a suitable rant thread, maybe it's time for me to start one for
       you.
First Pink Mist. BK says it quite well, there is God's business,
your business and other peoples business. When you are in other
people's business who's minding your business. You said 'out of
curiosity'.. oh oh, B.S. detector going off, I smell a setup
here. Something self-righteous sneaking in. Your curiosity would
be more wisely directed back to who gives a damn about this,
back to what is aware of all this. In addition, how do you know
that Gromer doesn't intend to name the author in his/her will in
return for his brilliant work. You have no idea what's going on
and it's not your business. Your business is YOU. I say this for
everyone's benefit because it's a very common human undoing.
Your ego protection strategy is rearing it's ugly head to make
you feel one up on another person. And, I thank you for giving
me such a clear example to hold up for others to see.
Mork: What are you doing defending your activities? It's all
just blah, blah and a waste of bandwidth. You do what you do and
that is all that's required. All else is just memory. You can
just admit you know nothing and ignore the goings on. Defense is
a number one ego protection strategy. This is an important
point. Someone else's silly little ego has stepped in and probed
your silly little ego. Bingo bango there is a response. Who
gives a damn? Really, who gives a damn... ONLY EGO because it
wants to be right, all the friggin time.
I am taking the **** out of you both for everyone's benefit. I
want to point all members to the importance of intense focus on
self, of constructive selfishness. When you are fully T/R,
realized, enlightened or whatever you wish to call it, you will
be free to step in and do whatever is called for. There is a
huge different when there is no 'I' in the equation. My guess is
that you will drop all desire to defend anything, especially
egoic motivated activities. You will just do what you do and not
do what you don't do and it will be perfect, as it is now, but
perfectly without a 'you'. Things go better with Coke and things
       go better without you.
There is also a point here about H/A. An adult would realize
that it's not their business and would never try make it there
business because an adult would be aware of the tricks and traps
of ego before hand. He/she would just look at the trap, notice
the bait and walk quietly around it.
Whoa, slow down Jed. What are you doing giving people s h i t
like this? Get off your high horse!
You came here, and in fact, by default and by inference you have
ask me for something thus inviting me to participate in your
business so that you might handle it better. I only work by
invitation and you can uninvite me any time you wish. Now I'm
explaining myself, what a dolt am I. Forget all the foregoing.
       Love ya, Jed.

How appropriate. Thanks to Pink Mist and Mork.
Yeah. I meddle all the time, but conveniently forget to include
that little fact in my narrative, so then go around patting
myself on the back for being above something i'm actually in the
       depths of.
No self-loathing here, though. See the thing that needs seeing
(and the whole meddling thing is definitely the thing,
       presently) and MOVE ON.
