"Because you are using thinking to figure things out and thus
binding yourself with chains of ego as you go."
       Yup, that's me.
Willing to do whatever it takes to drop those chains, even if it
means having fun. Right now, those chains are not so much fun.
       At all.

I read repeatedly in the trilogy that one cannot want truth, or
T/R. One is driven by hatred of false, not drawn by love of
truth. That makes sense, conceptually. I think I'd be teasing
myself to say that I still possess such fire. I wish I did (I
think), it would give me something to do a reason to do it.
What I do want, is the best game possible in this tiny little
slice of time. Success, money, and power are booby games. I
want flow, existence in a pliable universe, complete freedom
from fear. Maybe a little fun too ::)
       Love,
       Wes

“I seek to attract folks who are truly dedicated to nothing
short of T/R and, furthermore, willing to do whatever it takes
to get it. Absolutely nothing held back. This is the only way
one can actually expect to realize IT, by a commitment. Just
munching chip in front the TV won’t cut it and you can read a
zillions books and never taste it.”
Agreed - 'The price of Truth is everything'
All I seem t be interested in these days is scribbling down in
my notebooks. Strange how it has worked but in Book 1 I think it
is you said something like “in order to do any serious thinking,
you need a pencil in your hand” Jeez how so very very accurate
that has turned out to be. There is no pushing involved any
longer, its all about being pulled, pulled by the process.
Pulled further away from security and stability. In my case that
is the stability of knowledge and understanding. In SA I’ve been
scrapping like a pair of alley cats – stalking, bearing up,
facing down, long wailing stand-offs, violent explosive clashes
and licking of wounds. Its an amazing thing to be doing.
If there was one little thing you could expose, one frailty, one
flaw, one part of you that you hate or are not proud of, what
       might that be?
Arrogance that I think I can figure stuff out. And fear of being
‘found out’. Oh and much of what Smiling and Illusion said:
       Fungus - Check;
       Lying, afraid of rejection, desire for total honesty - Check;
       Fear and nervousness – Check;
Sorry - just re-defined 'one' as 'many'.
"If you realize your true nature you will be in a position to
change the world, change your family, change your shirt, it
doesn't matter what, you will realize that all your previous
efforts to change have been coming out of a giant I and doomed
       to just promulgate more I."
Its a no-brainer, that' the direction to go. So If you’ll have
me in the Navigator Series then, yes, please, I’d like to be in.
       Best, J.

@ Lynnth; Yes that is basically my understanding of an ashram
       but wtf do I know?
one part of you that you hate or are not proud of
I could be less verbose, I'll have to "think" about that tho :D
PS. If you want the verbose 341 word answer it's on my "done"

I see it this way, what kind of story do we get if Alice doesn't
follow the white rabbit down the rabbit hole? No story at all,
the same stupid, worthless sh*t that 99.9 percent of the
population is doing right now, nothing, worse than nothing and
thats just fine for them, "good on ya mate".
The reason every effing person in this forum, who is reading
these words right now is here, is because a voice told you to
come, it's not ego wanting, although that may come up, no, it's
The Little Bastard that want's to go down the rabbit hole, the
part of each of us that sent us looking for the trilogy, which
in turn sent us looking for Jed online, that eventually brought
       us all here.
It's funny, Jed's done a good job of mitigating the egocentric
bullshit in here that cropped up on the other site, but it took
partitioning us to keep the natives civil, why? Because we're
all from a world that's based on the High School model, judge
and be judged, it's complete bullsh*t and even with Jed
isolating us in our threads of solitary confinement, the
silliness of who's where and who's prom queen and who's on the
football team still crops up during recess. F u c k that. We're
all here because we want to go down the rabbit hole, we're sick
       of being a lie.
Brothers in arms we are, all in this foxhole together just
waiting for the bottom to drop out and continue our slide at
breakneck speed down some crazy rabbit hole to meet the Mad
Hatter, Cheshire Cat et al. No, not to meet Jed, that's our ego
talking, to meet someone who completely f*cking scares the sh*t
out of every one of us.... ourselves. The Queen of Hearts is not
a bad representation here, Lewis Carroll's depiction of her
reads like our ego run amok; "I pictured to myself the Queen of
Hearts as a sort of embodiment of ungovernable passion - a blind
       and aimless Fury."
The Sex Pistols got it right. "God save the queen! She ain't no
human being!" And neither are we, time to face that head on
       comrades.
