Truth exists - What is existence?
By: GP Date: November 18, 2023, 9:27 am
---------------------------------------------------------
I read the assumption, an assertion (because at the moment
that's it for me) that truth exists. I can ask "what is
truth?"and "does truth exist?" But if I accept "truth exists" as
a working hypothesis, then I ask myself: What is existence? Does
this make any sense? I mean, could this question be helpful to
come to the point?
I am new here, and I am not a native English speaker (maybe this
is helpful for the dialogue - thanks in advance for considering
this). I look for possibilities to come further and was hoping
that someone knows really and that this someone could help to
come further.
Thanks

I am horrified of getting rid off my life. But nevertheless I
write here.
I tried to contemplate the feeling of "I". There is great unease
in that moment. One time there arrived the thought "I am the
unease". For a short moment I felt better. How to go on?

I think I had a similar dilemma at one point. I realized that
if I questioned what Truth was far enough, I realized I don't
even know what reality is... Existence, reality, I think we
mean similar things. It made it more difficult to exist because
whatever I had previously thought to be true as "life" what I
had taken for granted to be an obvious reality had kinda lost
meaning and it was hard to find something solid to base my life
or choices off.
I know I didn't really supply an answer for you, I'm more just
reflecting that I think I understand what you're saying, having
had a similar issue. I would say it's not so problematic as it
used to be for me, but I'm still working through it in some
ways.

Hi,
This is just a suggestion and not a definitive answer.
Any question can be useful, at any time.
However, it would be useful to have some unit of measurement to
intuit or "feel" the usefulness of a question/answer. As far as
I'm concerned, the questions/answers are no longer useful to me
and I used them (or I need them) almost exclusively to
communicate with someone or to entertain myself with my
imagination. I mean that at a certain point you will no longer
need to use that tool (intellectual question/answer) because the
answers will be given without you asking the question.
The Truth can be seen as a dispenser of answers, solutions,
clarity, lucidity.
At a certain point the Truth will respond, come to light,
clarify your mind from dark doubts.
Until then, wait patiently for her arrival.
Or abandon yourself to the possibility that the Truth is there
and notice the effects of your confident abandonment.
The ego is the part that cannot abandon itself, wait, be
patient.
Unable to wait, the ego searches relentlessly, foments useless
questions and seeks useless answers.
....
I simplify the phrase "truth exists".
Something seems to exist, but that something that seems to exist
doesn't really seem real. It seems real like a dream phenomenon
so - in truth - it is not real.
However, to be there it needs a true reality (aka Truth) that
makes it be there, that gives energy, support, power,
verisimilitude.
That stuff that gives energy, power, verisimilitude to so-called
reality is the Truth.
Here, therefore, the Truth is the eternal source of renewable
energy that precedes everything we see, hear, think and live.
It exists, external appearances do not.
It doesn't die, we (individual egos, people) die.
