I am and I AM

Dear Jed,
I am referring back to the start point. Now I can understand "I
am", I also can understand there must be "I AM", but how could
you build the connection between these two?
I read your articles, and thought you mean "I AM" is naturally
behind "I am".
But maybe not?
I also read the God's name part: I am who I am. This is an very
interesting point. Maybe the region starts from the same
thoughts as you.
thx

Dear Flyheart:
Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum.
How can you build a connection between 'I am' and 'I AM'? You
don't build a connection, you find/explore the connection that
already exists. It's you mind/thinking/ego that wants to build
one, mostly because that 'building' will give you the illusion
of control. Anything the 'mind' creates in order to get to 'THE
MIND' is counter productive due to Mayas build in handy-work.
I am not clear about the 'region', but I will let my lack of
clarity be as it is for now. Don't hesitate to write back
anytime.
Much love and stay healthy,
Jed.

hi, Jed
Sorry for my poor English. It should be "religion" instead of
"region".
I am reading Descartes ‘Meditationes de prima
philo-sophia’ again. Previously, I think I understand it,
but now I found a NO.
I can understand the first one: "I am" well.
I can understand the second one OK: "God exists", here I think
the God refers to "I AM".
but I have a hard time to go further. May I need more reading
and writing.
anyway, it makes me happy to understand " I AM" exists. As a
chinese, we are taught that "God" did not exist. This confined
my thoughts for a long time. It is a big breakthrough to
overcome this barrier. I wish I can go further.
Buddha claims: everything is empty and nothing. I am
thinking that maybe "I am" & "I AM" are not nothing, and they
should be a solid rock where I can rely and start from?
also, thx a lot for your books. When I struggled, I always read
them again and again, and they gave me lots of courage.
