Jed rant, just feel like talking

Dear Members:
I derive much pleasure from your posts and diligence. As you are
probably aware, the previous forum was a s h i t storm, but I
just wanted to see what would happen. I hallucinate here is much
more useful and thank you once again.
For new members, you may want to read other posts and my rants.
Even going back, if you have already done them, can be
productive. Rant same... you changed.
Sal stimulated me to post something, I make the rules so I can
break them. Second one is my fav. The look is I love you
endlessly and am not buying your bull s h i t. My fav.

Dare I copy him, hell yeh! I love you all and I'm not buying
your bull crap.
A little more on the topic. Ramana taught that everything and
everyone was your guru. Think about it.
My take (Guru: Hindi for 'teacher') is that if everything is a
Guru it means that everything is pointing the way, teaching you
something. Sometimes it's about being or doing, sometimes about
what to not be or do, sometimes about doing nothing (my fav).
I request that you contemplate that. Everything is not
somethings only, not this but that, everything is everything.
Your family has taught you, frequently what not to do, but that
is still a valuable learning. Everyone you pass in the street
teaches you something. I have a little thing about tats. Every
time I see one I am thankful as it teaches me I don't want one.
I am grateful. A little more why...
Many, many years ago in Benares, India I met someone, a holy (or
maybe not so holy) man who offered to purchase my soul. I'm not
making this 'S' up. I had already sold a pint of blood at a
local clinic to further fund my travels, and this guy was
offering $100. A hell of a lot at the time. Hmm.... the catch.
The deal was I could have and use my soul for the balance of my
life and when I died, he go it. Oh, one more thing, it required
that he put a small tat on the bottom of my foot. Him teach, me
learn... very fast. Homey ain't buying that crap. But what a
great guru to me in that moment. I managed without the C-note,
said no thanks and briskly walked away seeking the view from
inside a different temple, I believe it was Shiva next.
If, only if??? everything was in place to teach you who you are,
everything and always, teaching.. pointing... would that not
make you a student of everything always? What might you be
resisting learning right now? How do you learn? I don't know
what it means to you, if anything, but I learn continually
through acceptance, non-resistance, welcoming. That is the only
true love that ever was. All else is resistance and could even
be called 'hate'.
I want you to be someone else, behave a certain way, but for
Christ's sake, don't bruise my feelings or hurt my fragile ego.
Just behave the way I want and I will be happy... NOT!
Every day is full of teachings, zillions have come and gone and
we have blocked almost all through resistance to them. Energy
that is completely wasted, unless we learn from that as well.
I'm going to share a little personal weirdness that I just did.
I went and washed the bottom of my left foot and took an
indelible felt pen and wrote 'Thank you, love Jed'. Now, don't
go spreading this around as I might get locked up for breaking
some local ordinance like that 90 year old guy in Florida who
feeds street people and it's now illegal. Yeh, he deserve the
chair for that one, the nerve of the guy. Hmmm..what could I
learn from him. He looked pretty good for 90. Maybe I should eat
less and give more food to others. I'll give that one a try
today. Is society insane? What thinketh you?
You are my Guru(s) and I learn continually from you. I thank you
from my heart. At the same time we are all teachers and all
students. What could be more wonderful, such an excellent
adventure. In my understanding, you teach by just being what you
are and you learn by accepting everything that is. I'm not
saying you should adopt that attitude because that would be
telling, not teaching. Big difference. I'm just letting you what
my experience of this world is in this moment, and it will
surely be different in the next moment. Consistent I am not,
thank God!
What have you learned and what have you taught? What have you
'told' and what have you resisted? What have you loved and what
have you hated? The only suffering is attachments and aversions,
the two sides of desire. There you go, I just tried to tell you
something. Mea culpa.' ???
Love ya, Jed.

an hour ago, a syrian co-worker told me a little bit about his
family sitation in syra. they had everything like a few cars,
big house, money and so on. and they had to left everything
behind because of the 'IS', who are hunting and going to kill
everyone if they find them.
and i said something like "yea, its hard to believe because here
in emden, germany, everythings just fine. you can do whatever
you want to do, no war, corpes on the streets and so on."
and he answerd me "thats right, but it can change everytime.
today heres peace, but maybe tomorrow heres war and chaos like
at the second world war (emden was totally destroyed in 1944).
it can happen everywhere and everytime.
and he was right. everything can and will be changed, nothings
forever.
maybe he was my guru for today :)

Jed et. al.:
There is no doubt that, except for a meager few self-realized,
the entire population of the world is stark raving mad.
My rant from 1973:
My biggest conflict is the attempt to exist in a world where I
must be what I am not; in order to exist in conflict with
myself. ::)

I hallucinate that the barometer of my clarity is inversely
proportional to the galloping insanity of the world outside...I
know, I know: I'm clinging to the belief that one can grasp the
clean end of a turd. Hell of a ride! ;D

Ah, the muse has left me, thank God!
Love to all, Jed.
I'm still chortling... the muse returned for just a second.
You're going to have to help me Sal.

Hi Jed,
great timing for this post. I had amazing experience recently
and was not sure if I wanted to share it or not...But since you
have mentioned tattoos I will)))
I went to a holotropic breath work session, during which I could
not find myself. The music played and it suppose to activate
some emotions and feelings in me. And I realize that there is
nothing in me that would be react to this music, there is no me,
that I AM the music! That I AM my fears as well. I AM the source
of everything! I AM. Its so simple.
After the session my body went to a resistance : I had headache,
was vomiting and crying for a couple of days.
I realized there is no way out from this "matrix". No meter were
I go I can not escape "myself" and the only "way out" is
suicide!))) But then suddenly the sensation of peace come upon
my body. I felt it with every cell of my body GRATITUDE! I guess
my body suddenly agreed that I AM absolute! I am still in this
state and with this knowledge. But at some point my brain
interfere: "Wait baby until the s h i t hit the fence, will see
how you will feel about it!"
Couple of days ago my daughter Skyped me at 3 am her time. She
was a bit drunk, complaining about how she fed up with uni,
feeling lonely in the other country and....I noticed she done
ANOTHER TATTOO! (by the way, I don't have one, I am more the
"classy type" ::) and I use to have a HUGE resistance to tatto
(thats why my the only child have 5 of them by 19! :o
I watching my reaction..._NONE!!!! Except of the peaceful
understanding that everything is goes how it should be and
complete acceptance!!!!! The "old me" would be freak out BIG
TIME. First of all I would be feeling guilty for various
reasons. Then I would feel ashamed (the other people will think
I am a bad mother) and ect.
The lesson I learn: this experience I had is FOR REAL! Its is
not my mind game...I AM and there is no "me" anymore!
Thank you Jed for being with us and for your guidance. If not
your books and forum , It would take me years to understand what
going on with me.
Love, Marina

Life is by far been the greatest teacher in my experience.
Trying to cling it is like getting your ass handed to you and
saying "thank you may I please have another." Over and over
again...
There is just no way that you can go through this experience
without learning a little something here and there.
I also find it curious that when you relinquish the need to mold
everything into ego's petty wants and desires, things
masterfully fall into place in a way that accommodates growth.
The "bad" of 10 years ago is the "good" of today and vise versa.
It's like the universe saying hmm, nice try.
I absolutely love this game and have nothing but appreciation
for those of you who play it with me. Especially those of us who
as breaking the rules.

"I learn continually through acceptance, non-resistance,
welcoming. That is the only true love that ever was. All else is
resistance and could even be called 'hate'. "
Yes, I see that resistance is that. Every day resistance is
like tapping the breaks and hate is hitting them so hard they
smoke. But both in same movement. The "no" to what is and the
"NOOOO, NO, f*** NO!" to what is.
Yes, acceptance, non-resistance, welcoming is the movement of
love. That fits beautifully The universe meets itself and
there is love or hate. That is really cool, not sure why I
think that, but maybe someday it will fall into place. Some
kind of binary code no doubt. Probably spells out "If you are
reading this you're a ... " You can fill in the blanks from all
the bathroom graffiti you've read over the years.
..new to forum and reading from begining to present (mostly
Rants, Rules and Jed pretending to be not Jed)
But yes Jed I like your description of true love, and your tone
really changed when you wrote that. So your either really
sincere or ... Either way that surely is love. Fills me with joy
for some reason, even tears, don't know why
