Good question, and the only answer that counts is your answer.
And, in my experience, the only way to really get that is to dig
very, very deeply into why you are asking that question. I
assure you, you have the answer, and, I am pretty sure you will
be reluctance in accepting it. Just the nature of mind. Now you
have your New Years resolution all laid out for you. Find out
why.

Hiyah...
Your response drove 2 words and dropped them off on the other
side of internal door that has only been answered a few times,
and mostly recently because WhatFor could not hear the knock.
WhatFor answered and looked down to see a balancing answer to
the question "why," to see no one else than the perfect sense
making "why not?"
It's not explainable how that makes sense, but it does but not
with the out of control mind. It's like mind is one of those
auggers that has handles that 2 men usually hold to dig holes in
the ground with a great big drill bit on the end, but it's
gotten out of control and it's spinning around so fast, the men
cannot grab the handles.
Just noticed too many words, I'd delete them, but.... w h y n
o t leave them.
It's been pointed out that why and why not, are still duality...
And... The word further is pushing but WhatFor doesn't know what
way to jump.
Please... What do you see that is not being heard? Or.. what
direction should be stepped even though the stepping stone is
not seen.
Too many words again....

I don't think your understand the nature of 'Why?'. It goes
deep, really deep.
I hereby give you permission to use as many words as you need,
just this once. And keep in mind, the more words you use, the
wisdom you would seem to possess... (hey, say's who?).
If you feel you can keep it to three words, I will worship you
with garlands of exotic odiferous flowers that are beautiful
beyond imagination. One particular one I am saving just for you.
An orchid that smells just like milk chocolate... and if you
think I jest, surely you jest, they are very real.

Earth is the chess board, or everyTHING is.
Humans are the pieces, well, maybe everyTHING was, is and are
pieces on the board, being moved around by the undescribable
hand or force. Or, this thing got started at some point, and it
was all setup likeone of those kinetic art projects that get set
into motion and... Watched... Seeing what happens with this
things that has been set into motion)))

Ooohhhh , you are sneaky, slipping in conjunctions. Well, I
guess that's o.k.
Let me ask you something, is it possible that absolutely
everthing is possible? Could it be that everything that could
ever arise has already arisen? Just saying....
Perhaps 'infinity' is the answer, reason, cause, solution. Who
knows? There is much, much more going on than our little
collection of limitations could ever dream of.

Hiya Jed,
Yes, I don't see or understand my conjunctions I slipped in. I
feel like I communicate what my experience is best by using
analogy or by painting a picture with words. I don't have any
idea how someone else hears or see's the words shared, just that
it feels the most natural, or cleanest or most correct way of
use of language. Learning... or Unlearning lots about language
and how I understand and have attached "my" meaning to it......
I dont know...
And yes, I also feel and believe that there is way more going
on. Yes, I believe that its possible that everything has already
happened that is now. Like, we built the pyramids, as in a
future generation of us now built them, yet they are back in
time and time has looped on itself, like if one was looking at
time from a birds eye view, and could see it like an infinity
symbol, its all connected, but perspective of forward or back is
relative based on the observer standing on the symbol itself,
like its a race track of time in time, all held under the roof
in Maya's house. And yes, who knows, I don't, that's for sure.
As why comes up again.... maybe because if all this wasn't, what
would there be? A boring nothing? Or something this flesh noodle
cannot even grasp.. so this is a level of entertainment, or like
you say, a movie that's playing itself for ITself... again, I
dont know.. at all...
(hard time writing "I" and "believe" right now, but that's where
I am at, at this point on the time track)
