Two book recommendations .....

Dear Forum Member:
I have two books that I highly recommend. The first, most of you
already know of, but some new members may not: Finite and
Infinite Games, by Carse. If I recall, he lays no claim to T/R,
but I think he is more T/R than he realizes. Short, pocket book
size, PDF available via Google.
The other one speaks directly about T/R and is the simplest most
pointed book I have ever read on the subject. Also a quick read
or audio book on Youtube: Ashtavakra Gita. I prefer Bart
Marshall's translation. This little jewel deserves to be read
over and over.
If you have any trouble obtaining them, write me at
cambodianashram@gmail.com and I will send them to you. I would
enjoy hearing your feedback and the effect they have on you.
Much love and stay healthy,
Jed.

I’m reading the Gita one, but it’s hard to beat “The Starship
Gita.”

Im slowly reading through Gita, I may not get to Games.
But just particularly enjoyed this piece.
9.2
Rare and blessed is one
whose desire to live,
to enjoy and to know,
has been extinguished by observing
the ways of men.
Well damn, I sure feel TONS of blessed these days then...

Welcomed recommendations. Thank you. Didn't know them.
The Ashtavakra Gita is about the true "I". The mind cannot
understand this and tries to identify but has to fail.
Free from desire? For the true "I" this is it and can never be
different except in a dream. So I am (is) always free from
desire, I don't have to search for it. I am the screen on which
all desires are appearing and perceived.
But can this also be possible for the little I, for a dreamt
character?
In a dream everything is possible, but there is no-one to decide
to experience whatever. So who cares? I am! Nothing can ever
happen to me.
