Getting even with everything and everyone... ahh... yehhh....

Dear Reader:
The title does sound a little weird, but we are living in weird
times.
Ever had a lover cheat or deceive you, how about a business
partner who defrauded you... maybe you have 'revenge' thoughts
about events that go back to high school. These exist in
everyone to a greater or lesser degree. Baring going back and
locating the offending character and blowing their head off...
there is nothing you can do. An event happened and it's over.
But, perhaps it's not over for you. Really, how could your
forgive that friggin bas tard, or that thoughtless b i tch? You
know you are right and they are wrong. But, knowing that just
temporarily placates one's ego... no lasting assistance there,
just self-righteousness.
All hurts live in only one location... you... and likewise, all
vengeful thoughts live in you. If you contemplate it, it’s only
reasonable that the solution must arise in you as well. It's
certainly not going to arise 'out there', and I mean really, why
would you waste expensive ammo on such a low-life?
Here’s my solution. I'd like to get your thoughts. Nope, I'm not
going to go on about forgiveness this time.
You can get revenge for any wrong done to you by any person, by
getting deliriously happy... that's all it requires. I do
understand that it's not always easy, but could you think of a
much more fun goal? There is a parallel that may not have
occurred to you.
With all the talk of nefarious government activity one might be
driven to seek a solution, an understanding, relief from
frustration, something to ameliorate it all... and there is
something.
The emotion behind seeking answers is fear. Fear that you might
be unwittingly duped, that you might miss some important move by
government, or perhaps you will miss out on a cure and drop your
body. Governments are well aware of this fear and play it out
with finesse.
The solution... find out that there is no you.
You are pretty unlikely to change the government, to create some
miraculous cure or palliative, but you can exclude yourself from
the equation.
Have you ever watched a great boxer or cage fighter? One of the
tricks of any good fighter is to not be there (the landing point
of the punch). An opponent throws a heavy one and there is
nothing to land it on. So, what if the government throws a
'heavy one' and you aren't there. Physically you can move
somewhere else, but that's not really a guarantee that it won't
land, eventually.
I know that this is going to sound a little impractical and
airy-fairy, but if you discover your True Nature, you will
realize that you don't exist in any 'personal' sense. You will
'get' that you are not a body, and that the body is an arising
on the real You. Discovering your True Nature is not going to
make governments disappear, or become anymore friendly or
helpful. However, it will definitely take much of the sting out
of any punch, and will certainly provide a counter-balance, to
those luscious, enticing and seductive conspiracy theories.
Expressed another way, the more ‘you’ there, the more pain,
discomfort and fear you will experience, and that can be
generalize throughout your experience in this dream.
Every time you are concerned about the future, any time you fear
or anticipate anything, keep in mind that there is no you to
whom it could apply, no you who could be hurt, not even a you
there to believe them... then it all becomes an entertaining
movie. Yes, the hero is shot in the arm in the movie while you
sit there watching. Do you experience a wounded arm? Not likely.
It's not bad to pursue understanding, to follow other theories
and imagine all the nefarious things going on...but none of them
apply to you, when know who you really are.

It interesting to realise that all false ideas and CONcepts are
just a house of cards so to speak and can and will fall sometime
or other, socially, culturally or governMENTAL etc. I
capitalised on the second half of the last group on purpose
(hand of mouth while chortling madly)
Being CON TROLLed is a personal choice, one has to agree
knowingly or not if they wish to play the GAME. Maybe thats why
it rhymes with Blame.
I am reminded of a jolly little ditty we used to sing as little
whipper snappers while reading this, another of your thoughtful
posts Jed:

I spoke to an Aboriginal elder here once upon a moment and asked
him about their songs and his reply was, " that is the dreamer
verbalising or speaking. I then asked him about their dance in
Corroborees. He replied. " That is the dreamer moving within the
dream.
I was told there are some still in central Australia that can
stand in one postion for days naked in the heat of the day and
the cold of the night. I asked. "how the jolly f*** do they do
that'! he replied," that is the dreamer becoming the dreamed.
So in my dream, I want to be an extremist, I want to join a
milisha and .................. ummmm I better stop here in case
I'm labelled a looney :)
Well don't blame me Jed, you got me singing this rather fun
song.Now I'm doing air conga lines around my house and garden.
The Black Cockatoos think its a riot and the Kookaburras are
laughing their heads off :)
Thanks again for your thoughtfulness ............. or is it
thoughtless yet mindful ............. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm another
wonder to ponder upon the great ocean of being and seeing. I
might stop rowing my boat and dive in for a swim. I must
remember the mantra downunder here.

.............. Mystory ......... Ourstory! Now there's an idea,
I might start a book and each and everyone writes a chapter.
It'll be bloody long book and may run the risk of never being
finished let alone read. Oh well time's an illusion anyways so
we could just jump chapters or start at the end and skip the
meaty parts so we can all go outside to play :)

I have a license plate frame that says, "Best part of reality"
(top) "Nothing ever happened" (bottom). It occurs to me that I
might have shortened it to "I never happened".

Thanks K, I would not get in the ring with anyone, I want to own
the ring and the whole stadium. Aside... I have a few old
acquaintances here who like poker. When they invite me to play
(read: Fish) I just tell them I only play at a table I own.
(read: I will always make money regardless of who wins or loses
in the game).
Hi John: I really enjoyed the bo's, I spent a year in Syd long
time ago and when my wife and I left, they gave us an
incredibly spear with a kangaroo toe-nail for a point. Heated in
the fire and straightened by their teeth. Very deep and old
culture. Love it all.
Yes, N, I can't for the life of me find anything that ever
happened. I have some memories for sure, but they are not the
thing, just memories and oohhh.. they can be very deceptive.
Seems everyone has a different memory of the same event. Strange
indeed.

Finding out that there is no you? Ooh, aah, that's to me far
better words than someone tells me "I love you!" (which can only
be a lie...) :-)
"Who" is the real conspirator in this play? The conspirator for
the little you/me? It's always the truth. But can this be called
conspiracy? (it depends). Viewed from the other perspective it's
Maya that is conspiring. But Maya does not really exist so it's
just our own silliness, voluntarily and self-imposed (those
words caught my attention in another topic if yours). Hm, "who"
is silly? No-one to be found but perceived actors that do not
really exist. :-)
